Dark Labs Crack Primal Edition is a straight-up, high-stim pre-workout that's all about mixing solid gym support with a wild CNS and mood boost for folks chasing that intense, driven feel during long sessions. This isn't your everyday starter—it's a bold mix that backs up its pump and endurance with 6,000mg L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, 3,200mg beta-alanine, 1,000mg agmatine sulfate, and a stim stack that goes way beyond the basics.

Let's break it down. That 6g of L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 gives you about 4g of real L-citrulline, which is a good spot for performance, even if some straight citrulline products go higher. Citrulline boosts arginine levels better than taking arginine directly, which helps with nitric oxide, wider blood vessels, better flow, and that pumped-up look during high-rep sets. The 3,200mg beta-alanine is the dose studies back for building carnosine in your muscles over time. Carnosine fights off the acid buildup that causes that burn during tough reps, letting you push a bit further. This ingredient has solid science, and they nailed the amount here. Agmatine sulfate at 1,000mg throws in extra pump help and brain support, keeping muscles feeling full even with all the stims.

Now for the fun part: total caffeine hits around 533.5mg from three types—300mg anhydrous for quick kick, 200mg dicaffeine malate for longer burn, and 175mg caffeine citrate for fast absorption. That's a lot by itself. On top, they've got 2-aminoisoheptane (DMHA) at 250mg, N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine Citrate at 300mg, Beta Phenylethylamine HCl at 500mg, halostachine at 150mg, isopropylnorsynephrine at 25mg, a

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 builds a solid pump base so you're not just running on stims. It delivers about 4g real citrulline, kicking up nitric oxide, opening blood vessels, and getting more flow to your muscles.
  • 3,200mg beta-alanine matches the dose from studies that boosts muscle carnosine. Stick with it, and you'll fight off that burning fatigue better, squeezing out extra reps where it usually hurts too much.
  • 1,000mg agmatine sulfate adds pump and brain perks. It helps keep your muscles full and the pump strong, even with vasoconstricting stims in the mix.
  • About 533.5mg total caffeine from anhydrous, dicaffeine malate, and citrate creates a smooth energy ride. Citrate and anhydrous hit fast, while dicaffeine malate keeps it going longer.
  • 250mg 2-aminoisoheptane takes it to high-stim level. It's there for that sharp CNS push beyond caffeine, giving you the urgent drive that vets crave.
  • 500mg beta phenylethylamine HCl and 300mg N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine Citrate boost mood and that feel-good energy. They make the workout exciting and fun, not just wired.
  • 500mg Alpha GPC 50% gives around 250mg real Alpha GPC for brain support. It helps with focus, quick reactions, and that mind-muscle link you feel on machines, isolations, and big volume days.
  • 500mg L-tyrosine backs up your body's stress hormones in this heavy-stim setup. It's not the highest dose out there, but it fits right with the caffeine and other stims.

Dark Labs Crack Primal by Dark Labs contains 6000mg L-Citrulline Malate 2:1, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Serious bodybuilders in tough hypertrophy phases wanting drive and pump together. 6g citrulline malate, 1g agmatine, and 3.2g beta-alanine help flow and fatigue fight, while stims bring the fire for big volume days.
  • Vets doing powerbuilding with heavy lifts and reps who need lasting energy. Multi-caffeine plus DMHA-style stims keep you going past the halfway mark.
  • Stim-hardened folks past 250-350mg caffeine basics, seeking real jump in drive and mood. 533.5mg caffeine, halostachine, alpha-yohimbine, and phenethylamine deliver that kick mainstream misses.
  • Cutters training fasted or low-cal who want hunger curb and output boost. Isopropylnorsynephrine, alpha-yohimbine, caffeine, and halostachine give a thermo, high-energy vibe for dieting.
  • Lifters chasing sharp focus and connection, not just buzz. Alpha GPC, tyrosine, and noopept sharpen the mind on top of stims.
  • Guys saving it for max days like legs or back, making tough sessions feel doable. It's perfect when you can't risk low motivation.

How to Use

Try half a scoop first to check your tolerance, even if you're no newbie. Full scoop packs 533.5mg caffeine plus extra stims, so ease in smart. Take 20-30 minutes before lifting; that lets fast caffeines, stims, and focus stuff peak at go-time. Shake one serving in 8-12 oz cold water, add more if flavor's too punchy. Hits best on empty or light stomach—big meals slow the rush. Don't mix with other caffeine, burners, yohimbine, or stim nootropics same time. Rotate for tolerance if it's your heavy hitter; add beta-alanine off-days for full benefits. Keep it sealed cool and dry—powders like this stay fresh away from moisture.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes: taste fades, alertness creeps in, beta-alanine tingles start. 10-20 minutes: caffeine citrate and anhydrous ramp up, you might heat up, drive builds, alpha-yohimbine fans feel it sharpen quick. 20-40 minutes: peak time—energy's full on, focus locks, motivation spikes, citrulline and agmatine bring that muscle fullness in sets. 40-90 minutes: stays strong thanks to dicaffeine malate and full stim mix, shifting from buzz to gritty push. Days 1-7: stim hit is instant, but beta-alanine builds. Weeks 2-4: carnosine levels up from steady beta-alanine, so you last longer in fatigue reps even as stim wow fades. That's why sticking with it turns strong feels into better performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Dark Labs Crack Primal Edition per serving?

A full scoop delivers approximately 533.5mg total caffeine from 300mg caffeine anhydrous, 200mg dicaffeine malate, and 175mg caffeine citrate. That is an extremely high caffeine load even before factoring in the additional stimulant effect of 2-aminoisoheptane, halostachine, isopropylnorsynephrine, and alpha-yohimbine.

Is Crack Primal Edition suitable for beginners?

No. This is an advanced high-stim pre-workout with a stimulant burden far beyond entry-level formulas, and most new users should not start here. Even experienced users should begin with half a scoop to assess tolerance.

Does this formula actually have pump ingredients, or is it just stimulants?

It does have a real pump backbone: 6,000mg L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 and 1,000mg agmatine sulfate. That said, the formula’s very strong stimulant load can counter some vasodilation subjectively, so the pump support is meaningful but not the dominant identity of the product.

What does the 3,200mg beta-alanine dose do?

That is the clinical daily dose commonly used to increase muscle carnosine over time. As carnosine levels rise across consistent use, your muscles get better at buffering acidity during hard sets, which can help you sustain effort deeper into training.

Why are there three different caffeine sources in this pre-workout?

They create a staged energy curve. Caffeine citrate and caffeine anhydrous help drive faster onset, while dicaffeine malate is included to prolong the stimulant effect and reduce the abrupt drop-off common with single-source caffeine formulas.

Can I stack Crack Primal Edition with a fat burner or energy drink?

That is not recommended. With approximately 533.5mg total caffeine plus DMHA-class stimulation, alpha-yohimbine, and adrenergic compounds like halostachine and isopropylnorsynephrine, stacking more stimulants materially increases the risk of side effects.

What does Alpha GPC 50% mean on this label?

It means the raw material is standardized to 50% active Alpha GPC, so 500mg of Alpha GPC 50% yields about 250mg actual Alpha GPC. That is a useful dose for cholinergic focus support, though it is lower than 500mg of pure Alpha GPC.

Will Crack Primal Edition keep me awake if I train late?

Very likely for many users. The total caffeine load is already extreme, and naringin plus BioPerine may help extend or intensify the stimulant experience, so late-day use is a poor fit unless you have exceptional stimulant tolerance.

How often should I use this product?

Most users are better off reserving it for hard training days rather than using it every day. That helps manage stimulant tolerance, though if you want to maintain beta-alanine saturation you may want separate beta-alanine intake on non-training days.

What makes this different from standard high-caffeine pre-workouts?

Most high-caffeine products stop at caffeine plus maybe one extra stimulant. Crack Primal Edition layers three caffeine sources with 2-aminoisoheptane, phenethylamine derivatives, halostachine, isopropylnorsynephrine, alpha-yohimbine, plus Alpha GPC, tyrosine, noopept, and a real pump/endurance base.

Portable and stable. Perfect size and gives me the privacy I need when working from home. Stability is great as long as you place the stands correctly it won't wobble. I love it.

Attractive
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Grey
The assembled product is just as described. The screens look great! I am using them to hide the cluttered shelving in my garage. The area now looks quite neat Something I must say, though, is that the assembly was extremely difficult. I had to use a silicone spray and some pounding to get the A and B poles to fit together. Also, it required a great deal of strength to stretch and hold the fabric panels so that the bars inserted in each hem lines up with the screws inserted in A/B poles. I strongly recommend having a partner to help with the assembly. while sc and screw into poles them once inserted intetchedtne end of each pole ( and B poles barely fit together. I used silicone spray on the end and then pounded them

Does the job, but assembling by yourself is a nightmare
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Does it do the job? Yes, although as others said there are small gaps but it's not a huge deal. The price is also good. But the reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is simply because the assembly for this was a complete nightmare. I honestly don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they have another person to help them assemble it, because doing it by myself was terrible. I don't think I'd buy this again, I think I'd opt to just spend a bit more money and save myself the trouble personally.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.
