Magnum Nutraceuticals Refresh is a no-stims hydration and electrolyte mix that's straightforward and smart: it replaces what you sweat out, helps hold onto fluids where you need them, and throws in some B vitamins for energy support. This isn't some showy 'performance' drink acting like hydration. It's built with sodium leading the way for everyday sweat, muscle support, and bouncing back from workouts, heat, trips, or anything drying you out.

At the heart is 500mg sodium from sodium citrate and sodium chloride. That's a dose that counts. Sodium handles fluid balance outside cells, keeps blood volume up, and supports nerves and muscle squeezes. Lots of electrolyte drinks skimp here because people freak about sodium, but if you're active and sweating, it's what makes water stick around and work instead of just flushing through. 500mg per scoop is spot-on for moderate sweat fixes and sipping before or during workouts.

You've got 200mg potassium from potassium citrate. It teams up with sodium for the balance that drives nerve signals and muscle moves. It also helps spread fluids right. Not a huge amount, but it's solid when paired with sodium, not flying solo.

Magnesium shines here at 170mg from magnesium citrate. This mineral's in tons of body reactions, like making energy from ATP, muscle chill-out, nerve work, and the pump that balances electrolytes inside cells. Citrate form absorbs well. In real life, this is what helps if you're feeling flat, crampy, twitchy, or just off.

Key Highlights

  • 500mg sodium per serving — this is what makes Refresh actually useful for hydration, not just a label trick. Sodium's the main electrolyte outside cells that keeps blood volume steady, holds onto fluids, signals nerves, and powers muscle contractions when you're sweating hard.
  • 170mg magnesium as magnesium citrate — a good chunk of a key mineral many folks don't get enough of for performance. It helps with turning ATP into energy, relaxing muscles, nerve signals, and the pump that keeps electrolyte balance going at the cell level.
  • 200mg potassium as potassium citrate — a smart dose that backs up sodium without stealing the show. Potassium handles fluid balance inside cells and supports the electric setups your muscles and nerves need constantly.
  • Sodium + potassium synergy — hydration isn't about dumping random minerals in water. These two team up through the sodium-potassium balance that drives muscle squeezes, nerve signals, and how fluids move around.
  • Magnesium + potassium support — magnesium's needed for the Na+/K+-ATPase pump to work right, so it helps your body handle potassium better. That makes this mix smarter for your body than ones that add potassium without magnesium backup.
  • Vitamin B6 at 2.3mg — a handy add for metabolism that ties in well with magnesium. B6 helps with breaking down amino acids, making brain chemicals, and turning food into energy, and it might boost how you use magnesium.
  • Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin — they went with the active form, not some cheap version. At 6.8mcg, it supports making red blood cells, nerve health, and energy without acting like a fake stim.
  • 11mg pantothenic acid — this one's key for making coenzyme A, which is big for energy production. In use, it finishes off the B-vitamin support that helps your body turn carbs and fats into fuel you can actually use.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters in hot gyms or high-rep sessions who see their performance drop mid-workout. 500mg sodium plus potassium and magnesium keep fluids and muscle/nerve function going when water leaves you flat.
  • Runners, cyclists, and casual endurance types ending with salt marks, headaches, or post-session drag. It's made for that with sodium first, then potassium and magnesium for cramp fight and steady hydration.
  • CrossFitters and circuit folks in back-to-back sweaty bursts. No stims here; it backs electrolytes for ongoing push without extra caffeine on a tough day.
  • Fighters, grapplers, and weight managers between sessions. Gives a smart way to reload sodium, potassium, and magnesium after sweats, better than guessing with food and water.
  • Busy pros traveling, on feet all day, or juggling flights and workouts. Sodium citrate, potassium citrate, and magnesium citrate make it an easy daily hydration fix when life's drying you out.
  • Folks on stim pre-workouts needing hydration without more caffeine. Slips in before or during to handle electrolytes while your pre does the buzz.

How to Use

Mix one packet in 16-24 ounces of water, tweak for taste and how much you need to drink. For pre-workout, sip 20-30 minutes before so sodium and fluids are working when sweat starts. For long sessions, drink during. On super hot or sweaty days, pair with more hydration plans — one serving isn't everything.

No stims, so no half-dose start like with caffeine bombs. Shaker helps it mix, especially cold. With or without food's fine; many like it around training or between meals. Stacks with creatine monohydrate, EAAs, carbs, and pre-workouts missing hydration. No cycling needed — no stims or loaders here. Keep in cool, dry spot and packets sealed for fresh flow and taste.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: mix and sip; no stim kick since that's not the vibe. It's more about tasty electrolytes going in than getting hyped.

Minutes 10-30: fluids and sodium start kicking in, making hydration feel better than water alone, especially if you were low. In workouts, you get steadier push and less washed-out vibe from sweat.

Minutes 30-90: where it shines — sodium, potassium, and magnesium keep fluids balanced, muscles contracting, and nerves signaling as you train or recover. First week, better handling of sweaty sessions and fewer headaches or cramps. Over time, it's fewer rough hydration days, more consistent training, and solid recovery from ongoing sweats.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of product is Magnum Nutraceuticals Refresh?

Refresh is a stim-free hydration and electrolyte powder built around 500mg sodium, 200mg potassium, and 170mg magnesium per serving, plus vitamins B6, B12, and pantothenic acid. It is designed to support hydration, muscle function, and recovery from sweat loss rather than provide a caffeine-based energy boost.

How much sodium is in Refresh, and why does that matter?

Each serving provides 500mg sodium from sodium citrate and sodium chloride. That matters because sodium is the primary electrolyte responsible for helping your body retain fluid, maintain plasma volume, and support nerve and muscle function during and after sweating.

Is Refresh just for workouts?

No. It works well before or during training, but it also makes sense after sauna use, hot yoga, outdoor work, travel, long days on your feet, or anytime plain water is not enough to restore hydration status. The stimulant-free formula makes it flexible.

Does Refresh contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. Refresh is stimulant-free. That means you can use it later in the day, stack it with a pre-workout, or use it on non-training days without worrying about caffeine tolerance, jitters, or sleep disruption.

Why include magnesium in a hydration formula?

Refresh includes 170mg magnesium as magnesium citrate because magnesium supports ATP metabolism, neuromuscular function, and the Na+/K+-ATPase pump that helps regulate electrolyte balance at the cellular level. It is one of the most useful support minerals for people who sweat heavily or feel cramp-prone.

Can I stack Refresh with pre-workout?

Yes, and that is one of its best use cases. Many pre-workouts focus on stimulants and pump ingredients but do not provide meaningful sodium-forward hydration support. Refresh fills that gap cleanly without adding more caffeine.

How should I time Refresh around training?

For pre-workout hydration, take it 20-30 minutes before training. For longer or hotter sessions, sip it during training. If the goal is general rehydration after sweating, use it immediately after activity with enough water to match your fluid loss.

Is the formula fully transparent?

Yes. There are no proprietary blends in the verified formula. Every listed active ingredient and dose is disclosed, which allows you to evaluate the product honestly against hydration research and real-world needs.

Who should be cautious with Refresh?

Anyone with kidney disease, electrolyte-sensitive medical conditions, or a prescribed sodium-, potassium-, or magnesium-restricted diet should consult a healthcare professional first. The formula is straightforward, but electrolyte management can be clinically important in those situations.

Does Refresh need to be cycled?

No. There are no stimulants, hormone-active compounds, or loading-based ergogenics that require cycling. If you regularly sweat, train hard, travel, or struggle with hydration consistency, ongoing use is appropriate.

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.
