To celebrate 20 years since its original release, Kaiser Chiefs’ landmark debut Employment returns in a newly remastered anniversary edition. Pressed on classic black vinyl, this reissue brings back the infectious energy and sharp songwriting that helped define mid-2000s British rock.
Originally released in March 2005, Employment reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart, spent over 17 months in the Top 40, and earned 7x Platinum certification. Fueled by the hit singles “Oh My God,” “I Predict A Riot,” “Everyday I Love You Less and Less,” and “Modern Way,” the album launched the Leeds band into international acclaim and earned them an Ivor Novello Award for Album of the Year.
This black vinyl edition features the original album in full, newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios. A defining statement from one of the UK’s most beloved bands.
