If you went up and over the hill behind Port Chalmers, Dunedin, New Zealand, you might stumble across the rundown shack and converted woolshed whence the Cosmic Radio Station was first beamed into the Pacific ether. Head back to Port Chalmers itself and there stands Chick's Hotel. Tiny it may be, but it's hosted shows by Sebadoh, Stephen Malkmus, J Mascis, Sharon van Etten, and Parquet Courts, among many others, and it's also the epicenter of the vibrant Dunedin pop underground. The venue is run by the three members of The Shifting Sands - Mike McLeod (guitar, vocals), Tom Bell (bass), and Jake Langley (drums) - who, even with the responsibility of providing radio for the cosmos and bringing bands to Dunedin, still managed to undertake a 2014 US West Coast tour supporting David Kilgour & The Heavy Eights. The eye-popping sleeve of Cosmic Radio Station, by renowned Port Chalmers artist Jim Cooper, gives some idea of the psych-dealing within. This is an album that drips sundazed melody through a shifting haze of fuzzy, chiming guitars, shimmering strings, and vocal harmonies, with the aforementioned Mr. Kilgour lending his inimitable guitar to two songs. Recorded in a woolshed in Whareakeake and a decrepit crib overlooking Mapoutahi. Overdubs recorded at Chick's Hotel. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Thomas Bell.

My dog loves it.

I thought I was going to have to return this dog toy because my dog was afraid of the toy, especially the squeaker. But after a while, he finally did start playing with it and now he won’t let the other dogs touch his frog. It’s so bad that if they do touch it, he rips it out or their mouth, jumps up into a chair, and lays on top of it so they can’t get it. He still doesn’t like the squeaker if it’s down in front of him, but if I’m in another room, the squeaker makes him come running. He loves the squirrel I got him too. But the material of the frog seems really durable.
The part I like the most of that it’s like a puppet and you can stick your hand in it or an empty bottle of water and then Velcro it shut. If your dog doesn’t like the squeaker, there is a pouch in the mouth of the frog that you can access through this velcroed area and cut it out.
Definitely a must have if you have a tough chewer.

Don't waste your money!

Do NOT buy unless you like throwing away your money! This Ethical Pets 54093 Skinneeez Frog seemed like a great dog toy, but my Malti Poo destroyed it within TEN minutes! He actually ate the material and half of the squeaker before I found the other half. Guess we’ll be seeing that outside in a few days! This toy is listed as “Durable Dog Toy”, but it is NOT. I’ve got dog toys from the dollar store that lasted for months! We will not be buying nor recommending this product again. Don’t waste your money!

Great toy

My girl loves this toy. She has a lot of toys but this is her favorite. She is a 26 lb mini golden and we have had it over a year. It is just now starting to show wear. Once it is completely worn out I will buy it again!

15 Minutes….with update x2
Color: Orange
Within 15 minutes my 10-month old puppy had one of the moose antlers torn half off. I’ll see if he is able to destruct any more of this “indestructible” toy. If it holds up I’ll come back and upgrade the number of stars but for now…not impressed.
UPDATE:
Sadly he was able to rip it open via the appendages (the legs). The main body of the toy seems pretty tough but no dog is going to keep away from the legs. Downgrade to 1 star.
UPDATE #2:
I just received my second attempt at using this “indestructible” toy. This time I went with the rino since the legs are rope and not a sewn on leg. Well, in about 5 minutes my puppy had the horn torn and the horn provides direct access to the inside stuffing. As mentioned above, the legs are rope. The design was pretty smart in that both the front legs is one posted of rope going through a hole made in the stuffed toy. Same for the rear legs. This prevents the dog tearing them off and getting access to the stuffing. Sadly the horn being torn off right away makes this toy destructible.
I think the only way they may be successful calling this an indestructible toy would be if they made a ball out of the body material or perhaps something in the shape of a bone.
