Since forming in the mid-1980s, the reclusive Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus have confounded musical classification and studiously declined every invitation to explain their unique form of musical and artistic experimentation. Initially, the Liverpool outfit built their reputation on their extraordinary immersive multimedia performances, which combined multiple layers of visual imagery with elements of ritual, enigmatic samples, field recordings, and mesmeric live music. Their cult status was further reinforced with the release of the now-much-sought-after two studio albums The Gift of Tears (1987) and Mirror (1990) and two EP collections, Liturgie pour la Fin du Temps (1992) and Paradis (1995). Now, in 2015, the appearance of a new RAIJ album and the apparent relaxation of their strict vow of silence are generating predictable excitement and expectancy. Beauty Will Save the World does not disappoint. RAIJ's intoxicating mix of ethereal beauty, dazzling soundscapes, and oblique mystery reach new levels of intensity and subtlety. The album title - a quotation from Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky - is one of the many literary, cinematic, and spiritual references underpinning RAIJ's unexpected comeback. Founding members Paul Boyce, Jon Egan, and Leslie Hampson, joined by a fresh wave of collaborators, have crafted an album of unique beauty and originality. Prolonged silence seems to have deepened rather than dimmed their creative impulse. As ever, it is the breadth of musical genres, cultural references, borrowings, and retrieved sounds that defines the RAIJ aesthetic, but there is also a more consistently meditative and melodic strain that underpins the album's integrity and purpose. In a rare insight into the RAIJ's creative method, Jon Egan explains, Although our work takes elements and inspiration from many disparate sources we have never viewed it as deconstruction. We are looking for the thread that connects every manifestation of beauty, however fragile, transitory and seemingly accidental. There is renewed interest and appreciation of our music and that's great, says Leslie Hampson. We have never tried to cultivate obscurity or anonymity, we simply wanted to avoid having to explain and justify a creative process that isn't necessarily premeditated. Isn't it enough to listen to and experience it?

My dog loves it.

I thought I was going to have to return this dog toy because my dog was afraid of the toy, especially the squeaker. But after a while, he finally did start playing with it and now he won’t let the other dogs touch his frog. It’s so bad that if they do touch it, he rips it out or their mouth, jumps up into a chair, and lays on top of it so they can’t get it. He still doesn’t like the squeaker if it’s down in front of him, but if I’m in another room, the squeaker makes him come running. He loves the squirrel I got him too. But the material of the frog seems really durable.
The part I like the most of that it’s like a puppet and you can stick your hand in it or an empty bottle of water and then Velcro it shut. If your dog doesn’t like the squeaker, there is a pouch in the mouth of the frog that you can access through this velcroed area and cut it out.
Definitely a must have if you have a tough chewer.

Don't waste your money!

Do NOT buy unless you like throwing away your money! This Ethical Pets 54093 Skinneeez Frog seemed like a great dog toy, but my Malti Poo destroyed it within TEN minutes! He actually ate the material and half of the squeaker before I found the other half. Guess we’ll be seeing that outside in a few days! This toy is listed as “Durable Dog Toy”, but it is NOT. I’ve got dog toys from the dollar store that lasted for months! We will not be buying nor recommending this product again. Don’t waste your money!

Great toy

My girl loves this toy. She has a lot of toys but this is her favorite. She is a 26 lb mini golden and we have had it over a year. It is just now starting to show wear. Once it is completely worn out I will buy it again!

15 Minutes….with update x2
Color: Orange
Within 15 minutes my 10-month old puppy had one of the moose antlers torn half off. I’ll see if he is able to destruct any more of this “indestructible” toy. If it holds up I’ll come back and upgrade the number of stars but for now…not impressed.
UPDATE:
Sadly he was able to rip it open via the appendages (the legs). The main body of the toy seems pretty tough but no dog is going to keep away from the legs. Downgrade to 1 star.
UPDATE #2:
I just received my second attempt at using this “indestructible” toy. This time I went with the rino since the legs are rope and not a sewn on leg. Well, in about 5 minutes my puppy had the horn torn and the horn provides direct access to the inside stuffing. As mentioned above, the legs are rope. The design was pretty smart in that both the front legs is one posted of rope going through a hole made in the stuffed toy. Same for the rear legs. This prevents the dog tearing them off and getting access to the stuffing. Sadly the horn being torn off right away makes this toy destructible.
I think the only way they may be successful calling this an indestructible toy would be if they made a ball out of the body material or perhaps something in the shape of a bone.
