The LED downlight features an adjustable gimbal that allows for more flexibility in lighting design, enabling you to direct light where needed most. It is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes, providing protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings.
The LED downlight's fabulous white finish complements various design schemes, making it a versatile choice for any space. It also has an open-can design, ensuring the lamp's long average lifespan. Installation is fast and trouble-free for this LED downlight. It has a twist-and-lock mechanism for quick bulb changes, a large loop-in/out push-fit terminal block for wired downlights in series, and is mains-powered, eliminating the need for an independent driver or transformer.
Our LED downlight works with any GU10 bulb, but we suggest getting dimmable options and pairing it with an LED-compatible dimmer switch to access its dimming function. The GU10 bulb is available in three LED colours, including cool white, natural white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are suitable for task lighting, while warm white light creates a soothing atmosphere.
The downlight is insulation-coverable, so you can place loose insulation over its rear. However, this is only possible when using a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Insulation helps exhaust heat quickly, reducing warmth trapped in the home and decreasing electrical consumption.
