This LED downlight has an adjustable gimbal that allows you to change the light beam's direction by tilting it up or down at a specific range. It is perfect for changing the layout of your space or deciding on your lighting plan. The downlight is IP20-rated, perfect for indoor use, and can showcase unique architectural features and art collections. It comes in a super-pack of 50, making it ideal for significant renovation projects and builds.
The downlight works with any GU10 bulb, but since it's a dimmable fitting, we suggest choosing a dimmable GU10 bulb and using a compatible dimmer switch. The GU10 bulb comes in three colour temperatures: cool white, natural white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are primarily used for task lighting, while warm white light is for ambient lighting.
This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, so putting insulation loosely over its rear is safe, but only if used with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Insulation is essential for your home as it helps release heat, lowers warmth trapped in the room, and reduces electrical consumption.
The downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Fire-rated downlights like this have a built-in intumescent pad that triggers when exposed to a precise temperature, blocking tiny openings surrounding the fitting.
Installation is a breeze with this LED downlight. It's equipped with a twist-and-lock mechanism and a large loop-in/out push-fit terminal block that allows you to wire each downlight in series. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for an independent LED driver or transformer.
Our downlight has a simple round bezel and a pristine white finish, making it suitable for various design schemes.
