Deftly swerving what co-vocalist/guitarist Rachel Goswell terms "a trip down memory lane," these eight new tracks are simultaneously expansive and the sonic pathfinders' most direct material to date. Birthed at the band's talismanic Oxfordshire haunt The Courtyard, their diamantine melodies were mixed to a suitably hypnotic sheen at Los Angeles' famed Sunset Sound facility by Chris Coady. "It's poppier than I thought it was going to be," notes principal songwriter Neil Halstead, who was the primary architect of 1995's previous full-length transmission Pygmalion. This time out the group dynamic was all-important. "When you're in a band and you do three records, there's a continuous flow and a development. For us, that flow re-started with us playing live again and that has continued into the record." "There's a different energy about it," adds drummer Simon Scott. "It took ages to get back together and write songs and for it to click in the studio, but this album doesn't feel like a bolt-on - it's got an energy that's as vibrant as Souvlaki and Just for a Day. It feels very relevant to now."

Best cutting boards

Fantastic boards, easy to wash, dry and oil. Don’t put in dishwasher as the wood may split. Hand wash and dry it right away and stand it on its side to dry.

Wooden Cutting Board

The purchase of a wooden cutting board was another selection in my quest to eliminate plastic from my environment when feasible. I had forgotten how great a wooden cutting board is to use. This one is solid, beautiful, and worked well with a sharp knife. It stayed firm on the counter, without sliding. The trough around the perimeter was effective in keeping any fluids from spilling onto the counter top. The size was perfect, allowing me to easily cut and contain the vegetables I was dealing with. Yet it was small enough to easily store and pull out for use. I followed the instructions for caring for the board, washing it with soapy water, drying it immediately, and wiping it with food safe oil. It’s been a solid purchase that will undoubtedly be a workhorse in my kitchen. The first use allowed me to toss my 3 cutting boards that I’ve been using for years and were worn. I’m anxious to see if it holds up with the daily use I’ll undoubtedly subject it to.

Best Comentary for the layman/bible teacher
Format: Hardcover
The PNTC comentaries never dissapoint, they are the very best comentarys that i have found for those who do not read greek and may have a bit of bible college.. they are technical but not too technical, in depth but not too much. and you can always trust the General Editor DA Carson... i have several other comentary series but this is the best and all of them are rated very highly by the experts..

I would rank this among the best commentaries I have read on 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. A nice balabnce between academic and pastoral discussions.
