2017 two CD set. Music evolves and so does Buddha-Bar. This year marks a turning point in the history of the Buddha-Bar music compilations in all aspects such as music and design. On the musical side, this change is performed by DJ Papa, resident DJ of Buddha-Bar Monte Carlo since the opening in 2010. Donato Papadia aka DJ Papa, with Italian origin, started mixing in 1973 in an atmosphere of rock, soul and funk music. Curious by nature, he moved towards new wave music and naturally evolved towards techno and house music. The arrival of ethnic sounds opened the path towards a new world where he flourished as one of the best DJ. Then he played in more than 300 world-renowned clubs and became the resident DJ of Jimmy'z Monte Carlo where he remained for almost 11 years before finding his temple: Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo. It is the perfect place for Donato to distill his House, minimal and ethnic music gems. On the design side, a wind of change blows over the traditional Buddha-Bar CD covers. The Buddha imagination is still there with it's chic and trendy influences but it has been revised to be more refined and fresher. This compilation is deliberately meant to sound modern and bold. Buddha-Bar Music Monte Carlo Carlo - the renewal of Lounge music excellence!

Dark Grey color is more like brownish purple

The fit, comfort and value is good. The color is not as described; they are not "Dark Grey" as described. Imagine UPS delivery driver brown, but faded. They are what I can best describe as purplish brown. Definitely not the color I was looking for.

Classic wardrobe basic

Great fit and a nice lightweight fabric. The elastic in the back helps it fit a woman's curves just fine, and because these are men's shorts, they have nice deep pockets in the front. A little longer than I thought they would be, but that just means they're a modest basic look. On the whole, a good value for the money, reasonable quality.

solid old style docs construction
i am a medium to wide-ish 7.5 in women's, that typically wears an 8 for room. these fit like a wider, roomy 8.5 women's. that is fine because i intend to wear them with thicker socks and for long walks.they are immediately comfortable, and do not feel like they will have the typical brutal break in period. very stable and fitted around the ankle, yet not impossible to pull on and off.
they are so handsome, and meet my expectations.

Get it!!

This shoe has been a dream for me. I live in an area that gets snow so having the inner lining is great. My feet haven't been cold and I’ve not felt the need to multi-layer my socks, like with other shoes. Unlike most doc marts, I did nor have to break in this shoe, its been very comfy from the get. Material is really durable and has lasted me a long time. This is a great shoe, especially for how affordable it is.
