Catherine and Patrice Retif, winemakers since 1985, have converted their estate to organic agriculture over many years and got their certification in 2021. Their wines are an authentic and qualitative expression of Saumur Champigny

La Quille is the more upscale white wine of the estate. Made of Chenin grapes carefully selected at the harvest for their ripeness it is then matured in oak vats for a whole year before being bottled, giving this wine an aromatic richness that calls for fish in sauce or poultry dishes.
A distinct and unapologetic expression of white Saumur wines that will please the Chenin lovers.
