3-Position Recline — Simple and ReliableThe Cambridge reclines to three positions — upright for entry and exit, TV watching angle, and full recline for rest or sleep. The mechanism is straightforward and has fewer moving parts than infinite-position systems, which translates to long-term reliability for patients who use the same two or three positions every day and do not need continuous adjustment. The hand control has two buttons: recline and return to upright.

The DeLuna series build quality applies throughout: solid frame, quality upholstery options, and the same lifetime warranty on frame, lift, and recline mechanism that applies across the Golden lineup. Optional Heat & VibrateHeat and vibrate is available as an upgrade — adds a conventional heating element and vibration motors in the seat and back. For patients with arthritis, chronic muscle tension, or circulation issues who benefit from warmth during extended sitting, the heat and vibrate upgrade on the Cambridge is an affordable path to therapeutic heat without upgrading to a more complex chair. Adds 30–45 business days lead time.
Optional Straight LiftGolden is the only lift chair manufacturer to offer a Straight Lift option — the chair rises straight up rather than tilting forward, enabling safer caregiver-assisted transfers for patients who cannot lean forward independently. Available on the Cambridge — call to order. This is not visible in the standard online configurator.

The key difference is size range and design style: the Elara PR-118 covers Small/Medium (4'0"–5'5") and Large (5'10"–6'2") with a gap in between, while the Cambridge PR-401 covers Small/Medium (5'1"–5'6") and Medium/Large (5'7"–6'2") with more continuous coverage across the middle height range. The Cambridge PR-401 is rated to 375 lbs — this is the confirmed capacity per Golden's warranty documentation, not a third-party estimate. Some resellers list it as 400 lbs; that is inaccurate. For patients who use their chair primarily for lift assist, TV watching, and sleep — and do not need to fine-tune back and footrest positions independently — a 3-position chair is simpler, more durable, and less expensive. The mechanism has fewer motors and fewer failure points. For caregivers managing a patient who uses the same two or three positions every day, there is less to learn and adjust. If independent zero-gravity positioning or Trendelenburg is medically recommended, then infinite positioning is necessary. Not bad... but not great either.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear at the get go: I am spoiled when it comes to shampoo & conditioners. My wife has super fine hair so she buys the expensive Biolage stuff and I use it too because I only need a tiny little dollop for my hair. So I know how my hair feels after pricey shampoo and this.. well.. this isn't it.
Mind you, it's not bad. If I wasn't so used to to Biolage, I'm sure this would feel fine. However, this definitely made my hair feel like I had just washed with something like Salon Selectives. It just felt different. Maybe it's the aloe in there but my hair just didn't feel as nice as usual when I tried it.
So, if you're used to low-to-mid range store bought shampoos, you might like this a lot. Jeez that sounds pretentious! LOL, sorry! Again, it's not like my hair fell out or anything weird, but I've had the good stuff and I'll stick with the good stuff.
I'm still giving this 4 stars out of fairness for a perfectly fine shampoo. It still lathered up nicely and my hair was perfectly clean, but just don't expect a high-end feel.
