FAQs

What is the Heated Bian Stone Meridian Massager?

A handheld Bian stone tool contoured for TCM meridian massage along the body's 14 meridians. Real Bian stone with 40+ trace minerals, far-infrared, and ultrasound. SGD 150, sold by MoxaMoxa Singapore.

What is the best Bian stone body massager to buy in Singapore?

For users wanting a hand-controlled Bian stone tool larger than the Mini Plate but more affordable than the Wireless Guasha Device, the MoxaMoxa Meridian Massager is the sweet spot. SGD 150 with 3-year warranty, English service, training, and physical Singapore showroom.

How does this compare to the Mini Plate, Meridian Brush, and Wireless Guasha Device?

  • Mini Massage Plate (SGD 90) — palm-sized 80g, multi-purpose. Smallest and cheapest.
  • Meridian Massager (SGD 150) — contoured handheld Bian stone for purposeful meridian strokes. Mid-tier hand tool.
  • Meridian Brush (SGD 156) — multiple bristles for fast full-body sweeping.
  • Wireless Guasha Device (SGD 290) — heated, rechargeable, dedicated guasha. Most premium hand tool.

Who is the Meridian Massager best for?

  • Anyone wanting a slow, mindful meridian-massage practice — better than a brush for technique-focused work.
  • People with cold lower body or weak Kidney Qi — daily leg meridian massage.
  • Office workers for shoulders, arms, neck after work.
  • Anyone learning TCM at home — affordable, hand-controlled, no battery.

How long and how often should I use it?

10–15 minutes per session, daily. Stroke along meridian direction. Apply oil or lotion. The contoured shape works well on arms, legs, back, neck.

How is the authentic Aiyisheng different from cheaper alternatives on Taobao or Lazada?

  • High counterfeit risk. Many "Bian stone" massagers online use synthetic resin or jade.
  • No local support. The MoxaMoxa version comes with a 3-year local warranty, an English-speaking Singapore customer service team, hands-on training, and a physical Singapore showroom. WhatsApp +65 8961 9905.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Rinse with warm water and mild soap. Air dry. Bian stone is durable.

Taboos

Do NOT use the Meridian Massager if you are:

  • Pregnant — avoid body meridian massage; consult TCM practitioner first.
  • Suffering from open wounds, severe eczema flare, sunburn at application area.
  • On high-dose blood thinners or with severe bleeding disorders.
  • Running a fever or with acute infection.

Use with caution if you are:

  • Elderly with thin skin.
  • New to meridian work — start light pressure.

General taboos:

  • Always use oil or lotion. Dry strokes damage skin.
  • Stroke along meridian direction — upward on arms/legs, downward on back.
  • Don't over-do it. 10–15 minutes is plenty.

WhatsApp +65 8961 9905 for technique guidance or visit our Singapore showroom.

Works like it should, easier to use if you keep the dosing funnel on the basket
Color: Black, Color: Black
With a weighted top and storage base, this is sturdy metal with what appear to be standard acupuncture needles. It comes with a set of spare needles in a plastic tube. I find it much easier to use if I keep my dosing funnel on the basket, followed by a quick clearing of the funnel using a weighted espresso distribution tool with the maximum extension before popping off the funnel for my final tamp. See photo.

Simple tool that makes a difference
Color: Black
This tool really improved my espresso. It’s easy to use and helps distribute the coffee evenly, which makes the shots come out better. It feels solid and well made. Small but very useful.

It's not bad, but one minor issue FOR ME
Color: Black
There is nothing generally not to dislike about this WDT. Priced right. Good quality materials. But there are two issues that made me choose a different one, even before using this one: The entire top and bottom are straight cylindrical pieces. Ergonomically I would have to use more, larger muscle movement from my wrist to stir the beans. Not a big deal for some, but with other similar choices at the same price, I thought I would be better off with a different model. The second issue is that then the needles are placed back in the tall "recepticle", the top piece merely sits on top and isn't secured. For some that might be good because the top can be lifted out without any opposing force. OTOH, if it tips over it might expose the needles or need two hands to get it back together. If I didn't have other choices, I'd keep this one. I knew, without even using it that it wasn't for me... but it might be for someone else. Again, the materials are quite good and you can tell by the heft of the item. I elected to go with a similar concept, but a more contoured design with a knurled top and brushes on the inside of the recepticle to hold the needles and top in place, but also easy to extract for use. My choice over the Tiverain WDT was personal and has nothing to do with the quality of the product.

High quality and looks great
Color: Black
Works well, definitely deep enough. I like the stand- ease of lifting it off its base and then returning it without needing a second hand. Has a modern sleek look and it’s heavy in a good way. Feels like quality build.
