Your 2-hour class, step by step
A small-group, hands-on workshop. You'll practise on your own face under our therapist's guidance — by the end of the session, you'll be confident enough to do this routine on your own at home.
1 · Skin & Meridian Consultation (15 min)
We assess your skin type, common tension points, and which meridians are most blocked — so the routine is tailored to your face.
2 · TCM Face Mapping & Acupoint Tour (20 min)
A clear walkthrough of the 12 key facial acupoints — the ones that lift, the ones that depuff, and the ones for stress relief. You'll get a printable map to take home.
3 · Apply Our Signature Herbal Cream (10 min)
Our specially-formulated herbal cream lets the bojin tool glide smoothly while delivering botanicals deep into the skin. You'll take home a generous sample.
4 · Hands-on Practice — Half-Face Demo (45 min)

FAQs
Q1: What exactly is Facial Bojin and how is it different from gua sha?
Both are TCM scraping techniques, but they work differently. Gua sha uses broad, sweeping strokes mainly to detox and depuff. Facial Bojin is more precise — it targets specific acupoints and meridian lines on the face using a buffalo-horn or jade tool to release deeper tension, lift muscle, and stimulate circulation at a deeper layer. Think of gua sha as the warm-up and bojin as the targeted lift.
Q2: Will I see results immediately?
Yes — most students see a visible lift on the bojin-treated side of their face by the end of class. That's the highlight moment of the workshop. Lasting changes (clearer skin, sustained jawline definition, reduced puffiness) come with 5 minutes of daily practice over 2–4 weeks.
Q3: Is it painful? I have sensitive skin.
When done correctly, Facial Bojin should never be painful. It feels firm but soothing — most students say it's surprisingly relaxing. Our herbal cream is gentle enough for sensitive skin (we always do a small patch test first). The tool glides on the cream, so there's no harsh dragging.
Q4: What should I wear / bring?
Come with a clean face (no make-up please) and wear something comfortable. Bring a hair tie. We provide everything else — tool, cream, handout, mirror. Optional: bring a small notebook if you like to take notes.
Q5: Where and when is the class held?
At our MoxaMoxa studio in Singapore. We run classes on weekends and selected weekday evenings. After you book, our team will WhatsApp you within the day to confirm a date that suits you.
Q6: Can I bring a friend? Is the 2-pax price applied automatically?
Yes please — bojin is more fun (and better value) with company. For the 2-pax bundles, both of you should book on the same checkout. If you'd like to arrange separately, message us on WhatsApp at +65 8961 9905 and we'll arrange the discounted rate.
Q7: I already own a bojin tool. Can I bring my own?
Absolutely. Pick the Class Only package and bring your tool — we'll teach you the technique to use with it. If you'd like to upgrade to our Heated Bojin Machine afterwards, we offer a small discount to class attendees.
Q8: What if I can't make my booked date?
No worries — just give us at least 48 hours notice via WhatsApp and we'll reschedule you to the next available class at no charge.
Q9: Who shouldn't take this class?
Please skip the class (or check with your doctor first) if you have: active acne or open wounds on your face, recent facial fillers/Botox (wait 2 weeks minimum), a fresh sunburn, very fragile capillaries (rosacea — consult first), or recent facial surgery.
Q10: Is there a refund policy?
Yes. If you don't see any visible difference in your face after the class, message us within 7 days and we'll arrange a full refund — no awkward questions. We're confident in the technique because every batch of students has had real results.
