Bataleon Men’s Disaster Snowboard

The Bataleon Men’s Disaster Snowboard is a men’s freestyle / park snowboard built for riders who want a soft, pressable, and forgiving true twin for rails, jibs, butters, and creative resort riding.

Why It Works

  • Men’s Freestyle / Park Style: A 3D Twin shape and centered insert location give the Disaster a balanced, switch-friendly feel for rails, boxes, side hits, and park laps.
  • Soft 2/10 Flex: Easy to bend and maneuver, making presses, butters, and low-speed freestyle tricks feel more natural and forgiving.
  • 3BT™ Shaping: Lifted sidebase zones help reduce edge catches while keeping the pop and response of positive camber.
  • Core Core Construction: A dependable poplar and beech wood core gives the board durability, strength, and a smooth freestyle flex.
  • HyperGlide S Base: A durable sintered base delivers reliable glide and everyday performance when properly waxed.

Ideal For

The Men’s Disaster is ideal for riders who spend time in the park, especially on rails, boxes, side hits, and creative freestyle lines. Its soft flex, low camber, centered stance, and 3D Twin shape make it a strong choice for jib-focused riders who want forgiveness and playfulness over aggressive high-speed response.

Technical Specs

  • Snowboard Style: Men’s Freestyle / Park
  • Shape: 3D Twin
  • Flex: 2/10
  • Camber Height: Low

How It Compares

Compared with the Disaster+, the standard Men’s Disaster is softer and more approachable, with Core Core construction and Flex Walls for a forgiving jib-focused ride. The Disaster+ adds Light Core, C.S.T. SuperTubes™, and Aramid X-Ply for riders who want more pop and response.

Bottom Line: The Bataleon Men’s Disaster is a soft freestyle / park snowboard for riders who want a true twin shape, forgiving 3D feel, and easy pressability for creative park progression.

Choose the Men’s Disaster when the goal is to keep every lap playful, loose, and jib-ready.

This was my puppy’s fav toy for the longest time. Not too heavy and is the right amount of tough for a chewing teething puppy. Cute toy that’s easy to chew and safe for a teething puppy it’s not loud and lasts. Worth the price.

Airedale tough!
Color: Rubber Chew Toy, Size: Large
We have two young Airedale Terriers and I thought this would be a good inside toy for them to tug. And I was right! Very happily so. I have to admit I was surprised when I first saw it; it seemed so small. But the thing stretches and springs back to shape. We’ve had it about 2 weeks now and it is constantly played with. Absolutely the best toy! Very interactive either alone (it rolls) or with us or they play together. I am surprised how tough it is with all the constant rough play. Highly recommend!!!

Small, but twisty and fun looking. Seems relatively sturdy, though doesn't look indestructible at all.
Color: Rubber Chew Toy, Size: Large
SLIGHTLY disappointed because I thought this was bigger than it is. If you squish it all in close, it's maybe one and a half times the size of a tennis ball. (Of course, the size is probably listed; I think I just assumed, so my fault.) That being said, it's entertainingly twisty and squishy, though the rubber seems relatively sturdy. I'm not yet positive if it will hold up to the 8 month retriever/lab mix it's intended for; he tends to rip instantly through anything much less sturdy than kong natural rubber. But it seems like something that will amuse him, so we're going to give it a shot at Christmas.
