Due to this he has few social skills and can be quite naïve, he often has to be reminded to thank people. Manipulated by Frieza, Broly initially fights and defeats both Goku and Vegeta forcing them to become Gogeta to defeat him. After this battle though, he becomes friends with Goku and sees no reason for further conflict between them.
