VARRO, Marcus Terentius. Opera quae supersunt. In lib. De ling. Lat. Coniectanea Iosephi Scaligeri. In lib. De re rust. Notae eiusdem. Alia in eundem scriptorem, trium aliorum. Turn. Vict. August. Editio ultima, recognita & aucta. Paris: Apud Claudium Baaleu, ex aduerso D. Hylarii, in Curia Albretica. 1585.

8vo. Contemporary vellum with yapp edges, wanting ties, black morocco lettering piece and gilt to spine renewed, edges sprinkled red, vellum guards from two fifteenth-century manuscript leaves; pp. 143, 255, [88], 48, [4, blank], 128, [16], “67” [i.e. 77], woodcut printer’s device to title, woodcut initials and headpieces; binding a little soiled, lacking front endpapers; title-page a little dusty, otherwise a very good, crisp copy; ink stamps of the “Lawes Agricultural Trust” to front and rear pastedowns.

Rare Paris edition of the collected works of the Roman polymath Marcus Terentius Varro.

A prolific scholar and writer, Varro (116-27 BCE) is considered one of ancient Rome’s most learned men. Of his vast corpus, only De re rustica and De lingua latina survive. This edition includes scholarly annotations by classical scholars Pietro Vettori (1499-1585), Antonio Agustín (1517-1586), Joseph Justus Scaliger (1540-1609), and Adrien Turnèbe (1512-1565).

De re rustica is regarded as the first scientific treatise on agriculture and food production. Drawing on his experience as the owner of a large farm near Rome, Varro set out a methodical and practical account of rural economy, the reflections of an observant and successful farmer who had personally tested all that he describes.

Adams, V-284; Schweiger II, 1116.

Simple, sturdy and looks great! This is exactly what I was looking for that actually fit my very large PC case. Works well with an UpLift standing desk.

This is a solid piece of kit. Very sturdy pieces of steel,
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Many options for configuration, the only thing is double check your measurements. Mine ended up just not deep enough to use it with the current desk. I have. Waiting for an updated desktop. With a sit stand desk. The bar across the middle cuts your distance in half and the purpose of buying this is because you got a big computer. Double check your measurements

Decent budget option, difficult to adjust once set up
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Not bad and serves it's purpose. There are better options for a few more bucks, but this one is holding very well for the price.

IT HOLDS!
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Heavy duty set. My desktop weighs about 60lbs, and I’m surprised how well it’s being held. I’ve always had my desktop on top of my desk. But it feels so much more roomier not having it on top of my desk. On top of that during this cold weather it’s like having a heater under my desk. Of course my desktop is gaming wise. But if you are someone with just a standard browsing desktop then it shouldn’t be hot down there. Make sure your desk is real wood or thick metal. If it’s an ikea table and the basic kind where it looks like wood, but it’s actually cardboard inside then for sure it’s gonna snap off, and that wouldn’t be pc mounts problem, rather a desk type issue.
