PLUNGE-DIPPING:   

Fresh fill (charge):  1: 5 000 (1 litre to 5 000 litres water)

SPRAY RACES:

Fresh fill (charge):  1:1 000 (1 litres to 1 000 litres water).

Boost: It is recommended that not more than 500 head be sprayed in the spray race at one time, particularly where fouling is a problem. Where this figure is exceeded, boosting at the rate of 100 ml per 100 head commencing at 500 head can be undertaken to maintain a satisfactory deposit of active ingredient, especially where tick-borne diseases are a problem.

HAND-SPRAYING:  

Prepare about 5 - 10 litres dip wash per head at 10 ml in 10 L water. Thoroughly wet the animal by spraying from below upwards so that the hair is lifted by the spray. Concentrate on the ears, under the tail and in the brush of the tail.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD :

Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days of last dipping.
