The RAP-B-202AU is the lightweight composite version of our RAM® camera base: a 63.5mm (2.5") round plate with a 1/4"-20 male threaded stud and a B Size 1" rubber ball. It mounts any camera or camcorder with a standard 1/4"-20 socket onto any RAM B-series arm, at a lower weight and price than the aluminium RAM-B-202AU.

What's the difference between this and the aluminium RAM-B-202AU?
Same shape, same fitment, same ball size. The RAP-B-202AU is moulded from high-strength composite, so it's lighter and a little cheaper; the RAM-B-202AU is marine-grade aluminium for maximum durability.
Will it fit my camera?
If your camera or camcorder has the standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread on its base, yes. That covers the vast majority of cameras and camcorders.
What else do I need to complete the mount?
A RAM B-series double socket arm and a second B-series base to suit your surface or vehicle. The 1" B Size ball pairs with any B-series component.
