Moonstone
Moonstone is composed of feldspar stones, meaning any non-metallic mineral with a disconnected glass-resembling (vitreous) luster. Moonstone features a faint blue blush of color over the stone and an “inner” milky light which resembles the Moon. It is also an alternative birthstone for the month of June.
The desirable play of both color and light within the moonstone is caused by the refraction and scattering of light as it enters into deeper prism-like crystal layers. This creates an optical phenomena where the inner stone emanates a soft, brilliant, and sometimes colorful glow. This effect is referred to as adularescence.
Moonstone itself is frequently a colorless stone, but some moonstone varieties can display colors such as: gray, brown, yellow, orange, green, pink, blue and white. Moonstone deposits are most commonly found in Sri Lanka and India.
Few stones have collected as many stories and legends as the Moonstone has. In ancient Rome it was said that Moonstone formed from droplets of Moonlight. Ancient Romans also believed that Moonstone was the embodiment of many of the qualities associated with the Moon such as: femininity, intuition, dreams, emotion, and love. In Indian and Hindu legends it is regarded as a sacred stone that was believed to bring good fortune.

Works great on many different size cans
Works great on various size cans. It is a little larger that other openers, but seems very sturdy. It is a little loud and slow, but not a large concern. Very happy with it.

Stopped working after 3 months
It stopped working after 3 months.
The motor still runs the gear still turns. But it does not engage the can to cut.
I bought it for a post operative situation and I am glad that it worked when for the length of time it did but it's disappointing that I now have to throw this item away.

Meh.
Worked great the first couple of times it was used. But then it stopped cutting into the cans and does not open them. It causes the metal to fray off in small pieces which resulted in getting a piece of metal stuck in my finger for weeks so I don't recommend. It's also very loud.
