This Custom Shop '61 Stratocaster features hand-wound pickups made by Fender Custom Shop Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos. A Texas Special pickup in the middle position adds to a Stratocaster experience that is already classic and iconic. Constructed with a quartersawn maple neck and AAA rosewood fretboard, this Custom Shop delivers a sturdy and streamlined playing experience. Vintage-inspired design choices include a '60s truss rod and '60s oval "C"-shaped neck. The vintage vibe of this Custom Shop topped off with a Closet Classic Aztec Gold finish, simulating an instrument with age and light wear.
