In this School holiday Drawing Class we explore the bizarre work of Surrealist artist Salvador Dali to create images that are only found in dreams. If you'd like to explore the world of drawing and build upon your skills and techniques then consider enroling. Workshops are led by Christina, a registered teacher and visual artist with over 25 years of experience.
Dreams and the Bizarre
Chances are you have probably had some really bizarre dreams.
In this School holiday Drawing Class we explore the bizarre work of Surrealist artist Salvador Dali to create images that are only found in dreams.
If you'd like to explore the world of drawing and build upon your skills and techniques then consider enroling.
Workshops are led by Christina, a registered teacher and visual artist with over 25 years of experience.
Experience level: Beginner-Intermediate Ages 10– 16
They will receive:
- one-on-one guidance in a small class of no more than 6
- learn how to draw using a range of techniques to create a unique hybrid drawing artwork
- All the art materials to create their masterpiece
Where are the Holiday Workshops Held?
Sessions are held in the Art and About studio at Indooroopilly, a small art studio set in a beautiful garden. Due to the nature of the workshop, classes are limited to 6 so it's good to book ahead.
Cost
includes the lesson from a qualified and experienced Visual Art teacher, drawing equipment, and individualised instruction
Workshop Duration (2hrs)
As classes are step-by-step please arrive on time. Aprons are provided but it is recommended for your child to wear an old 'get dirty' t-shirt or outfit to be on the safe side.
Payment is due upon booking. Cancellations or non-attendance can be rescheduled within 2 weeks.
