The Fender Britt Daniel Telecaster Thinline is a custom-designed signature guitar crafted by Britt Daniel of the indie rock band Spoon. With a variety of altered specifications, the Britt Daniel Telecaster Thinline is a unique guitar made for fans of indie rock and dynamic Telecasters alike. The Britt Daniel Telecaster is equipped with a Custom Shop Vintage Telecaster pickup and a Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil pickup. The thinline semi-hollow ash body creates resonant tones that ring with clarity and volume, though the tones the guitar creates are easily tamed and controlled with precise and responsive tone control knobs. The tone controls deviate from standard Telecaster configuration with the addition of an S-1 control toggle to engage series wiring to create a fuller sound with less bite than a traditional Telecaster. With an array of tones to dial into via the control knobs and S-1 toggle, the Britt Daniel Telecaster Thinline is effortlessly playable with the light weight of the semi-hollow body design combined with a “Deep C”-shaped neck. The Fender Britt Daniel Telecaster Thinline is a unique guitar with streamlined playability and punchy tonal character as priorities as well as distinct and laudable qualities.
