Description
The Borla S-Type Mid-Section Exhaust System is a high-performance True Dual upgrade specifically tuned for the RAM 1500 RHO equipped with the 3.0L twin-turbo high-output Hurricane engine. This 3-inch diameter system is engineered to unleash the performance potential of the Hurricane powerplant while delivering Borla's signature S-Type sound—a deep, aggressive exhaust note during acceleration with a comfortable, "No-Drone" cabin experience at cruising speeds. The front muffler assembly features an internal H-Pipe, which balances exhaust pressure between both banks to optimize power delivery and refine the overall tonal quality of the truck.
Constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this mid-section provides maximum durability and superior resistance to corrosion and tarnish. The system is designed to integrate with the vehicle's Resonance Free Original Equipment (O.E.) tailpipes, which help control resonance for a refined driving experience. Installation is straightforward but requires a specific cut to the driver's side factory tailpipe assembly. Once installed, the system allows for the reuse of the O.E. over-axle pipes and tips, or it can be paired with optional 5-inch Borla tips for a more custom appearance. Backed by Borla's legendary Million-Mile Warranty, this mid-section is built to provide power and sound for the life of your RAM RHO.
