Heartwood dominates the block, approximately 80% of the volume, and it gradually lightens in color toward the sapwood. The grain is fairly linear throughout, with gentle swirls present near burl buds. I see no cracks or other potential flaws. There is one bughole visible on a face.

Cake plate size

These are more like cake plates or children's plates. I use them for desserts or a sandwich but when I want a bigger one then I get the other ones a bigger size......
