The Fender Vintera II '60s Telecaster is designed with timeless features reminiscent of original 1960s custom color Telecasters, meticulously crafted at Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility. Finished in ever-popular Fiesta Red, this Telecaster is designed for playability and exudes the spirit of the '60s.
The Vintera II 60s Telecaster starts with an Alder body and Maple neck, tried and true vintage-inspired Fender. The neck features an Early '60s "C" profile, 21 Vintage Tall frets, and a 7.25" radius Slab Rosewood fingerboard. Yes, you read that correctly – these Vintera II guitars are fit with Rosewood fingerboards! The initial Vintera run featured Pau Ferro fingerboards, which, while robust and sustainable, might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you envision vintage Fender. The Vintera II rectifies this with a Slab Rosewood board.
Additional standout features of the Vintera II '60s Telecaster include a 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Tele bridge assembly equipped with Slotted Steel Saddles, Fender Vintage-Style Tuners, Vintage-Style '60s Single Coil Tele pickups in the bridge and neck positions, the classic 4-bolt neck joint, and for secure transport, a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag.
