The yellow-green color eventually turns to green with age. This plant also occasionally produces white spadix with a pink to red spathe that may last four weeks or longer. This easy to care for plant prefers moderate light, but will thrive anywhere from low to indirect bright light. While this plant also requires moderate to heavy watering, it is forgiving if you occasionally neglect to water it, making an ideal plant for those who travel often or who have busy schedules.
