We're going all the way back to the start with the PRS Custom 24-08 in a radiant Gray Black. The Custom 24, the quintessential PRS guitar model, was the very first guitar launched by the brand back at the NAMM Show in 1985. Today's Custom 24-08 carries with it many of the fantastic, foundational specifications that made it stand out in the '80s with new levels of modern versatility. Altogether, this PRS is a classic among classics.

There's quite a bit of poetic authenticity and honesty to the Custom 24-08 that would be hard to script. Falling in line with decades of fine PRS design and musicality, the Custom 24-08 takes off. This model kicks off with a resonant solid mahogany body with a violin-carved maple top. Together, these two tonewoods allude to an enduring electric guitar tradition that balances the richness of mahogany with the top-end bite of maple. This combo comes together in a classic PRS double-cutaway form that enables smooth handling with a strap or over the knee.

From here, the Custom 24-08 brings on a set one-piece mahogany neck. PRS's Pattern Thin neck profile shape makes an appearance with this model for a seamless grip in hand. Smooth moves across the guitar's full scale length are the name of the game with a rosewood fingerboard lined with twenty-four frets. The guitar's modern-feeling ten-inch radius is matched with that ever-important visual flourish: PRS Birds fret inlays.

Where the Custom 24-08 builds up from the normal Custom 24 is in its added sonic versatility. This versatility manifests in its electronics. Onboard, the Custom 24-08 features two PRS TCI humbucking pickups that produce incredible warmth, clarity, and power. The guitar's pickups' three-way toggle switch rolls through three pickup configurations while this its secret weapon is revealed: Its two EQ mini toggle switches. These two mini switches allow players to quickly, closely, and effectively shape each pickup's low-end frequencies for mixing tone and clarity to taste.

You can't have great pickups without great hardware, don't you know. This Custom 24-08 ties everything together splendidly. A PRS Gen III patented tremolo lands at the base of the scale for stability and a solid transfer of motion from the strings to the body and expressive vibrato bends. PRS Phase III locking tuning machines with wing buttons align at the iconic PRS headstock for fluid and easy stringing experiences. Very lightweight but totally sturdy, these hardware specifications prime the Custom 24-08 for performance. Speaking of performance, if you find yourself on the road, this PRS travels with an included hardshell case.

One of PRS's iconic models, the Custom 24-08 is beautiful and beastly. The '80s are thoroughly back with this Custom 24-08, if they ever were gone.

Great Practice Questions!
Format: Paperback
I mostly used this book for the practice questions, which aligned with all the topics we discussed in class. This book was organized in a way that made sense and followed my professor’s syllabus. Definitely worth the investment if you want to practice essay questions for torts!

Poorly written, but possibly best of all the garbage available today.
Format: Paperback
E&E's (including torts) are of questionable value except as an introduction to ideas and terms. The actual examples and explanations are at times self-contradictory, especially regarding the certainty of the authors in how a court would rule. I would not recommend these books to anyone going to law school if there were something better available. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with anything better at this point. Read the whole first-year series before law school if you can't find a better series.
