Vini di Anna farms seven hectares biodynamically, focusing on old Nerello Mascalese bush vines and native white varieties. Volcanic soils lend the wines minerality and character.
For this juicy red, a blend of mainly Nerello Mascalese, with Nerello Cappuccio, Grenache and indigenous white grapes, are fermented in qvevri, then matured in large chestnut and oak barrels. You’ll find notes of cherries and plums, with a spicy, full-flavoured palate with fine, savoury tannins. Serve chilled.
