About the Brand
Umberto Ciceri became an artist after 25 years spent studying visual arts, neurophysiology perception, and biology of sight, chemistry of color, pattern and texture. His “Hypertraits,” artworks are created using lenticular technology. Each panel features silhouettes of figures and objects in seemingly perpetual motion. Perception is broken into a multi-step process, as viewers must first concentrate on the out-of-focus figures, before physically shifting their sight across to experience the movement of the artwork; thus, the observer becomes the engine of the work.
