Sage the Dose Control Pro SCG600, Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

The Sage Dose Control Pro is Sage's entry-level conical burr grinder, the sensible pair for a Bambino, a Bambino Plus, or any non-integrated espresso machine that doesn't include its own grinder. Sixty grind settings cover the full range from espresso to French press, an electronic timer handles dosing, and a removable portafilter cradle lets you grind straight into the basket. Simple, compact, and finished to match the rest of the Sage range on your counter.

For buyers who've bought a non-integrated Sage machine and need a grinder that does the job without adding another learning curve.

60 grind settings from espresso to French press

Sixty stepped positions across the full brew range, fine enough for espresso at one end, coarse enough for French press at the other. Stepped adjustment (rather than stepless) means settings are repeatable and easy to remember, which suits beginners working out what their machine and beans want. For precision espresso dialling-in within a single coffee, a stepless grinder like the Baratza Virtuoso+ or Sette range gives finer control.

Conical steel burrs

Conical steel burrs run slower than flat burrs, which keeps heat build-up low and preserves the oils in the bean. The particle profile suits espresso and filter equally well, and the burrs are built to last through normal home use without sharpening or replacement for years.

Electronic timer

Set grind duration precisely with the electronic timer and repeat the same dose every morning. Not fully programmable like the Sette range, but enough to stop you watching the grinder mid-grind and adjust dose size across different brew methods.

Grinds into anything you put under it

The output chute works with a portafilter (cradles included for 50-54mm and 58mm machines), an airtight container, a basket filter, or paper filters for pour-over. The cradle setup means you can pair the Dose Control Pro with pretty much any espresso machine on the market, not just the Sage range.

Comes with Sage's Razor dose trimmer

The included Razor tool trims excess ground coffee from the portafilter after tamping, giving you a level, consistent dose every time. A small accessory, but it saves a surprising amount of guesswork for anyone new to espresso.

Where the Dose Control Pro sits

This is a solid entry-level grinder for Sage machine owners who want a matching piece of kit. It pairs naturally with the Bambino, Bambino Plus, or Sage Dual Boiler, and it handles espresso duties adequately without topping the category. If you're pulling shots on a Lelit Elizabeth or Bianca, or you want stepless grind adjustment and faster grinding, a Baratza Virtuoso+ or Sette 270 is the category above this one. For a first-grinder purchase paired with a first espresso machine, the Dose Control Pro is where to start.

Balls
Size: Medium
My dog loves chasing these balls. He seems to love the squeak! They fit the chuck it stick perfectly, and are great replacements for the originals that came with the stick.

Nice set of balls
Size: Medium
The squeaker quickly became my dog’s favorite ball and has replaced the fuzzy tennis balls. My dog is a nonstop fetcher and these chuck it balls are durable and fun.

Soild
Size: Medium
The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.

Aggressive chewer who loves fetch approved!!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I highly recommend the Chuck-It brand in general, especially for dogs with an aggressive bite. These balls are awesome and are the most durable balls I’ve bought for my 50 lbs lab mix. He has not been able to break one of them yet and we’ve had a few of the squeaky balls for months. They are a bit pricey but worth it. The one in the pic has been used for months, lives outside and you can see it’s still in great shape.
