The Player II Modified Stratocaster begins with a gloss-finished alder body shaped in the classic Strat double-cutaway form. This baseline pick is matched by a silky satin-finished maple neck extending out and taking a Modern "C" shape. A strikingly modern and performance-ready addition, this body and neck play smoothly. This satin-finished neck fills out to a fingerboard bearing twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets with Black Dot inlays for a classic visual choice. Playability is enhanced by the board's 9.5" radius measurement, making this Strat a breeze to play.
This Player II Modified model continues on with the addition of three Player II Noiseless Strat single-coil pickups. Primed for producing iconic Strat tonality with clarity and sparkle, these Noiseless pickups eliminate hum for a clean and clear sound ready to be taken wherever you want it. These pickups are wired with a Master Volume treble bleed circuit, which retains top-end signal when lowering volume and a push/pull switch on the second tone knob which adds the neck pickup into the mix on certain pickup configurations. A TUSQ nut and a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge with block saddles land to ground strings stably for a sturdy and fluid playing experience across the entire scale. This Fender Player II Modified Strat comes with a Fender Deluxe gig bag.
