The uniquely shaped Pre-War SJ-200 starts out select thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce on top and rosewood back and sides. A two-piece maple neck in a "D"-shaped profile and bound ebony fingerboard come together for a period-accurate shape in hand. The full voice of this guitar rings out with a pristine vintage tone that captures the smallest qualities of acoustic mastery Gibson had already garnered by the late '30s. Traditional hand-scalloped "X"-bracing keeps the tonal experience fully authentic.

The Pre-War SJ-200 stands out not only tonally but visually. The guitar is adorned with Mother-of-pearl fret inlays, multi-ply binding, a captivating pickguard design, and Four Bar Moustache bridge.
