Omni Stain & Scale Control gives swimming pool owners and easy way to remove scale build-up and staining caused by excessive amounts of dissolved metals, simply by adding this chemical solution. Stain & Scale Control's formula removes calcium, the cause of cloudy water and scale, along with other stain-causing metals like iron, manganese and copper to restore your swimming pools appearance. This product helps prevent serious damage to swimming pool surfaces and equipment, while reducing the amount of time spend on pool maintenance.
Product Dosage:
Initial Treatment: 32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water
Routine Maintenance: 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons per month
Fresh Stain Removal: 32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water
Directions:
Initial Treatment:
1. Backwash filter, then allow pump to run continuously
2. Use 1qt. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water, adding directly to swimming pool
3. Allow pump to run continuously for 24 to 48 hours after this addition
4. Swimming can resume in as soon as 15 minutes after addition of product to the pool
Maintenance Treatment:
1. Use 16oz of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water once a month
2. Maintenance doses should be used for pools in areas where excessive hardness or metals cause extreme and constant scale and staining problems
Removal of Fresh Stains:
1. Many fresh metallic stains can be removed by the action of this product
2. Using a treatment of 1 qt per 10,000 gallons of water add Omni Stain & Scale directly to the swimming pool in the area of the stains
3. Brush the stained area daily for 3-5 days
4. Repeat treatment for large heavy metal stains
5. Where metal stains have aged into the swimming pool surface, draining and acid washing is recommended for white plaster pools only
6. Consult your professional Omni dealer regarding that matter.
