The 3.6L Pentastar is notorious for excessive amounts of blow-by entering the intake. This blow-by carries oil, fuel, and water vapor left over from combustion and too much of it causes smoking on inclines and while driving. This blow-by can also coat sensors and other intake components, reducing the performance of your engine and potentially causing knock. But Mishimoto has the solution. Our 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6L direct-fit baffled oil catch can kit protects your engine by keeping blow-by out of the intake. This allows your engine to burn only the high-quality gas that you put in the tank. Our catch can employs a series of air turbulators, a baffle, and 50-micron bronze filter to clean the blow-by of vapors before it returns to your intake. This catch can kit is a direct fit for your Wrangler, with no cutting or other modifications required. Installation of this catch can takes less than an hour thanks to the pre-cut hoses and installed stock quick-disconnects. A custom engineered 2.5mm steel bracket mounts our catch can to the fender rail, isolating it from engine vibration and movement for a lifetime of service. Also included with this catch can is a drain kit. Simply remove the plug from the bottom of the catch can and connect the drain kit to empty the catch can from behind the front wheel, without having to open the hood. This convenient feature lets you drain the can and get out on the road or trail in minutes. The included rubber cap prevents dirt and debris from entering the valve, so you never have to worry about clogged valve slowing you down. Overall, the product was GOOD, BUT JUST WASN'T FOR ME. The primary face moisturizer I use is oil based, and something that is a must for my skin (My skin loves my moisturizer). SO, having an oil based moister, and a GREASY sunscreen, is gonna be a no for me.

3 in 1 Deal: Moisturizer, Sunscreen, and No White Cast!!

Short Review:
It’s affordable and dark-skin friendly! A rich moisturizing lotion texture, lightly fragranced, with no white cast. If you have oily skin, you don't even need to moisturize beforehand, just skip straight to this sunscreen after cleansing. (Probably wouldn't be the same for people with dry skin). It’s at first tacky but it dries down to a smooth finish. Though this does have a shine to it that leaves your skin with a healthy dewy glow, if you have super oily skin like me, do follow up with a powder. If not after a couple of hours you’ll go from glowy to a grease soaked donut.
The Story:
I was shocked that the bottle was tiny/the size of my hand (funny when I’ve been through this shock at least a hundred times when trying sunscreens from Korean and Japanese brands) but rest assured, it does do its job (at least for me) and is affordable.
I’ve struggled with finding a decent sunscreen for a good year now. I’ve tried Neutrogena Clear Face (baaad breakout), Biore Aqua Rich (breakout), Nieva UV Super Water Gel (breakout), Frudiva (okay no breakouts but heavily scented, thick lotion, and left me super shiny), Hada Labo (beautiful lightweight texture but made me break out)—basically the struggle was real. Until I landed on Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. That stuff is magic, keeps me matte, and makes my skin look better but the darkest shade has a gray undertone so I have to follow it up with bronzer.
This sunscreen is perfect for when I don’t want to deal with the hassle of wearing my tinted sunscreen, am going out to run a quick errand, or when I’m staying indoors the entire day. The pump is super useful, especially if you do the two finger method application method. It comes out a yellowish color but once you rub it in, it easily disappears into the skin. At first, it feels tacky, almost as if you’ve applied a serum, but within 1-3 minutes it dries down to a smooth finish. It does leave a shine but nothing that a sebum or setting powder can’t handle for 4-5 hours. The big pointer is that so far no breakouts but I’ve been using this only for two days so I’ll update this if I see any changes in my skin.
I’m super glad I found this affordable option! I was looking at Elta MD (heard it piles, especially with makeup so I held back) and La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light but luckily I decided to peak at the more affordable spectrum of sunscreen. As of now, this sunscreen is a keeper. Let’s see how it stands after a week!
