22-16 AWG Non-Insulated Butt Splice Connectors

Key Features

  • Seamless barrel design ensures the connector will not split or open when crimped under high mechanical pressure.
  • Manufactured from pure, high-grade electrolytic copper to deliver maximum electrical conductivity and minimal voltage drop.
  • Electro-tin plated finish provides outstanding resistance against corrosion, oxidation, and rust in harsh marine and outdoor environments.
  • Features an integrated wire stop in the center of the barrel to guide correct and equal wire insertion depth from both sides.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Standard 22-16 AWG Uninsulated Butt Joint
  • Non-Insulated Parallel Connector 22-16AWG
  • Marine Grade Bare Copper Splice Terminal

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Universally compatible with standard 22, 20, 18, and 16 gauge (AWG) solid or stranded copper electrical wires.
  • Suitable for low-voltage and high-amperage applications within marine, automotive, motorcycle, RV, commercial, and residential wiring harnesses.
  • Designed for use with standalone heat-shrink tubing or electrical tape insulation layers to complete waterproof seals after connection.

When to Replace

  • Existing wire splices are heavily corroded, green with oxidation, or causing excessive electrical resistance.
  • The original crimp connection has pulled loose, resulting in intermittent electrical signals or complete circuit failure.
  • Previous insulation surrounding the joint has degraded, melted, or cracked from high heat exposure.
  • Splicing, extending, or repairing broken or severed conductors within an existing electrical harness configuration.

Installation Tips

  • Ensure the main power source is completely isolated and disconnected before working on any electrical circuit.
  • Strip approximately 1/4 inch of insulation off the ends of both copper wires, taking care not to cut or score the internal strands.
  • Insert the first wire into the connector barrel until it rests against the center stop, then use a dedicated non-insulated crimping tool to compress the terminal firmly.
  • Insert the second wire into the opposite end of the barrel, repeat the crimping process, and apply a moderate pull test to verify a secure mechanical hold.
  • Slide a segment of adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing centered over the bare copper connector and apply heat uniformly until the tubing shrinks and seals the joint tightly against moisture.

Doesn't really slip on too well.

Doesn't really slip on too well. Also, since the heel is ridged it unintentionally allows my heel to slip out while walking.

Really like these for casual summer outfits
Size: 10.5, Color: White
These are really nice kicks. Stylish, comfortable, and eye catchy for sure. Not too heavy, good price, and fit well. These are great, casual white shoes for a summer outfit. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as these do pick up and hold onto dirt and smudges more than I’d like to see. Yes, I know, white shoes are magnets for this stuff, but these tend to scuff and discolor more than I would have assumed. I live in an area with lots of bad weather most of the year so I only get a chance to wear them for a few months of the year unless I want to brave the wet and muddy weather. If you live in an area that has lots of sun and are willing to put these to the test and clean them often, I would say go for it.

Bottom of shoes after three weeks worn already have a hole in it! Didn’t expect to have to toss them away so soon.
