The maximum stretched dimension from the wood tail to the forward-most pin is 10", or 9" when the tool is reconfigured for a narrow depth tread. Maximum stretch is 7/8". Durable, soft, cool. I wash them in warm water and dry on normal heat, so far the material and zipper have held up. They do help your hair and skin. The zipper is a hidden zipper.

I like these better than the Blissy mulberry silk pillowcase. They feel smoother and softer and make my hair less frizzy. I've been buying these for years and they hold up great! I just switched to the zipper version instead of the envelope style, and I really like the more modern aesthetic of the hidden zipper. They are nice!
