Jaclyn’s unconventional techniques stretch far beyond traditional craftsmanship. The A Stool is an excellent example of this; the piece is the result of a series of experiments where Jaclyn aimed to keep the making process – and resulting aesthetic – as organic as possible.
With dramatic curves in the areas of biggest volume, Jaclyn used a simple right angle shape, an ‘A’ shaped leg and a hole handle to add to the playfulness of this design.
The A Stool is constructed using hydro-forming; where two sheets of metal are welded together and then inflated with the use of pressurised air or water. Due to this process, each edition will have its own very subtle variations.
Available in a stainless steel or powder coated finish, in any colour. Please enquire for bespoke options.
Use stainless steel cleaner and a microfibre cloth to clean.
