Parting is such sweet sorrow – in this case specifically – with the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Parting Glitch Device! This pedal, Parting, an all-in-one multi-effect glitch device with concurrent onboard reverb, delay, and modulation effect engines, is a labor of love from Old Blood and electroacoustic harpist Emily Hopkins. Meant to inspire welcomed surprises, boundless exploration, and heartwarming peculiarities, Parting is a robust engine to send yourself onto new sonic horizons.

Emily Hopkins, gear internet's favorite harpist, commonly calls upon Old Blood Noise Endeavors effect pedals in her work scoring for animations, video games, and theatrical feature films. Old Blood tips their hat to Hopkins with Parting, a deeply multifaceted glitch effect pedal with several different brain hemispheres deeply customizable for extensive textural musicmaking.

The central experience of Parting is centered around two main effect engines: A modulator and a glitch effect. On the pedal's "left-side" brain, we're met with the groovily bent tones of its powerful LFO modulator that swaps between a tremolo and a vibrato. Old Blood's classic LFO modulation wizardry is on full display with seven onboard waveform shapes running the gamut from more traditional sawtooths to fully randomized sines and squares. This modulator can be either a rhythmic tremolo or a twisty vibrato and shaped into different subdivisions through the Rate control's secondary function.

For the pedal's "right-side" brain, Parting imbues us with great glitching powers with its glitch reverb and delay. Doubling up, Parting's glitch effect creates enormous squalls of broken-up feedback with the possibility for randomized chimes of sound, as determined by the Chance dial. These two brains are then funneled through the Dissolve dial which works either as a bit crusher when set before noon or a signal reverser after noon. Altogether, Parting makes for a vast, intricate wonderland of Hopkins's favorite sounds and textures with all the intuitive design and player-friendliness of Old Blood's classic effect pedals.

Parting features classic Old Blood playability and control with a built-up control scheme. An Aux footswitch allows for Parting to be controlled with tap tempo functionality, swapped to a half-speed internal effect clock, or shuffled through its internal preset bank. A TRS expression pedal can be connected via Parting's ¼" connection to access control over any combination of dials at once. Parting can be routed in mono, stereo, and mono-in-stereo out via its TRS stereo input and output connections and operates on standard nine-volt DC center negative power supplies at 350mA, minimum.

Whether on your six strings or Hopkins's forty-seven, Parting is a masterful take on multi-effecting to drift away into serene, discordant, euphoric bliss.

Great purse!
Color: Coffee-lichee
Beautiful purse! The stitching is great and the leather is so soft. This purse has lots of room while not feeling big and bulky. Will purchase from this brand again.

Mostly Open Tote, with Pockets
Color: Grey-lichee
I love this bag. It's large enough for a short shopping trip, but not so big it drags when carried by hand (I'm short, so it's a factor). I like the pebbled surface but wish the bottom had little feet to protect the leather when set down. It has 1 zipped external pocket and 2 internal zipped pockets, although the second inside one could use a bit of structure; it flops, tending to cover items in the main compartment. It is high quality otherwise, fully lined, and a good value. I use it frequently, with enjoyment.

Nicest bag I’ve ever owned. Designer quality, obsessed.
It’s still hard to believe that how nice this bag is and that it’s mine and that I got it in Amazon. I’ve been searching for a high quality bag and was willing to pay 3x this price... I have many designer bags and somehow this is better than anything I’ve ever owned. I’m so happy I tried this out because I’ll never own another bag again. I literally get asked everywhere I go where I got my bag and everyone’s shocked to hear it was Amazon. I want it in every color... red is next for my bday! The leather is insanely high quality, straps are *LONG,* COMFY AND STURDY... Normally shoulder bag straps are either too short or so thin that they hurt/feel unreliable. So many inside pockets plus an outside pocket... It fits so much yet it’s not a big ugly tote.. it’s still a shoulder purse. I carry a giant wallet, small wallet, mints, chapstick, medication, a giant core water... and more and it all fits perfectly and straps are comfy. Literally obsessed... also I’ve never written a paid review before, this is not one, I just seriously love this bag so much.

Travel Friendly Bag
Color: Coffee-lichee
Genuine leather, deep pockets, beautiful rich brown color, zippers are jewelry grade (slide like butter), lots or organization, magsnap closure, outer pocket or cell phones, inside lining is soft material, shoulder carry. I returned because it was heavier than I thought, and not cross-body available
