A starter feed to encourage early intake of hard feed and give young calves the head start they need to reach their full potential. Formulated by experts in animal nutrition to be balanced, provide high energy, taste great and be easily digested. Contains a balanced blend of pellets, processed grains, molasses and lucerne chaff and enriched with major minerals, trace elements, vitamins (including B vitamins) and NuStart® Evolution. Calf Max 20% Moozlee provides vital support for kick starting the rumen and building a strong foundation for calf health and performance.

 

Feeding Recommendations

  • Feed 20% Moozlee ad lib from 0–49 days alongside whole milk or quality milk replacer. From 50 days, calves should be consuming around 600g and beginning the transition to SealesWinslow Calf Max 20% Pellets.
  • Calves should be introduced gradually in the first week of life SealesWinslow Calf Max 20% Moozlee to help form habits early. Intake may be limited when feeding higher volumes of milk. Additional coccidiostat may be required in the milk until SealesWinslow Calf Max 20% Moozlee intake is sufficient to aid in the control of coccidiosis.
  • Offer fresh SealesWinslow Calf Max 20% Moozlee daily. If fed in troughs, clean these out frequently.
  • Ensure calves always have unlimited clean drinking water and restricted access to long fibre such as hay or straw.
  • Wean calves off milk gradually at a minimum of 6 weeks of age and 65-85kg depending on the calf size and breed. Continue to feed SealesWinslow calf feed for 1-2 months after weaning off milk.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
