Inspired by the Adventure Watches of the 1980s

Before smartwatches, adventurers relied on purpose-built instruments. Pilot watches, dive computers, depth gauges and multi-function sports watches all demanded equipment built for action.

The Sports 295 revives an iconic 1980s strap design from Italian strap specialist, bringing authentic sports-watch heritage together with modern comfort and durability.

Originally developed during the golden age of adventure watches, the distinctive aperture-window design became a defining feature of many sports and tool watches throughout the 1980s.

Today, the Sports 295 remains instantly recognisable among collectors while offering a unique alternative to traditional dive straps.

Manufactured in Italy from premium HNBR rubber (PFAS-Free), it delivers outstanding flexibility, comfort and durability whether you're heading for the coast, exploring new trails or simply enjoying everyday wear.

Vanilla-Scented Rubber

Like many traditional Italian rubber watch straps, the 295 is infused with a subtle vanilla fragrance during production.

The scent is designed to help neutralise the natural odour sometimes associated with rubber products and is a characteristic feature appreciated by many watch enthusiasts.

Fit & Compatibility

The Sports 295 is designed to suit a wide range of wrist sizes, offering excellent adjustability and all-day comfort.

Featuring nine adjustment holes spaced at 9mm intervals, the strap can be fastened from approximately 120mm to 190mm (measured with the strap fastened and excluding the watch head). This generous adjustment range makes it suitable for small, medium and larger wrists.

The strap measures 132mm on the long side and 77mm on the buckle side, providing a balanced fit across a broad range of wrist sizes.

With a 20mm lug width tapering to 16mm at the buckle, the Sports 295 maintains the distinctive proportions of the original design while ensuring a comfortable and secure fit on the wrist.

Currently available in 20mm lug width, the Sports 295 pairs perfectly with many vintage sports watches, dive watches, field watches and modern tool watches.

Compatible with Heavy-Duty Spring Bars

Built with tool watches in mind, the Sports 295 features generously sized spring bar holes that accommodate spring bars up to 2.5mm in diameter.

This makes the strap particularly well suited to dive watches and professional sports watches that use heavier-duty spring bars for increased security. Owners of popular Seiko dive watches and other robust tool watches can often reuse their original factory spring bars without modification.

The larger spring bar compatibility also provides added confidence during swimming, watersports and everyday adventure wear.

Quality research and intriguing storytelling
Format: Kindle
This is quite a story. While it requires some in depth explanation of technologies, the heart of the book focuses on cyber crime investigations, the business and economic impact of crypto currency and a slew of interesting personalities.

Really enjoyable read on following cryptocurrency and how it happened
Format: Hardcover
Andy Greenberg is a GREAT storyteller and podcaster. Anything he writes is a must read. Tracers in the Dark was a super enjoyable, easy read. He covers, using people and stories, the basics of bitcoin and the people who try to follow the money to catch cybercriminals. I knew most (but not all) of the people and stories he covered, but Greenberg added a ton of detail I didn't know. He added timelines and color that fleshed out what happened, in each story and the overall timeline. It's a great, easy, read and I'm a better cybersecurity defender for having read it. Although don't read it for any super technical details. You're not going to learn the details of blockchain, bitcoin, or blockchain analysis...only how it's done, generally, and the people involved.

Entertaining and frightening
Format: Hardcover
Incredible job taking these real life stories and situations and writing them in such a captivating way that really draws the reader in. As fascinating as the forensic aspect of the dark web activities and investigations are, there were some very disturbing and dark areas that the book justifiably went at some readers may find very uncomfortable so just be ready for that

An eye-opener for those that believe the dark web and cryptocurrency are anonymous
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
The author, Andy Greenberg, takes the reader through a series of actual whodunit cases where the blockchain is used to trace illicit transactions on the dark web. From corrupt FBI agents to drug sales on the Silk Road, culprits are rooted out by following cryptocurrency through the blockchain. Each case is different and often involves an international game of cat and mouse. In addition, the author discusses some of the ethical issues surrounding an anonymous currency. Most readers will find this book an easy and engaging read, even if they are not familiar with the blockchain.
