Our most responsive autopilot system on the water

  • Solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS)
  • Minimizes heading error course deviation rudder movement and power consumption while providing a comfortable ride
  • Minimal commissioning and calibration
  • Patented Shadow Drive technology keeps you in control even when autopilot is engaged
  • Requires a compatible Garmin chartplotter

With a complete package designed for powerboats and sailboats Garmin brings an advanced marine technology to the boating public that was once only available for commercial boats. The Reactor 40 autopilot series is simply the most responsive autopilot system we have ever offered.

Reactor 40 autopilots are very versatile. Both powerboat and sailing features are available in all corepacks including heading hold wind hold tack/jibe step turns and more; simply pick the autopilot that's compatible with your existing steering system.

The Reactor 40 hydraulic autopilot corepack is ideal for all types of hydraulically steered powerboats — inboards outboards stern drives and diesels — or hydraulically steered sailboats. This robust unit gives powerboat users an easy-to-use autopilot system to rely upon for navigation. With its solid-state 9-axis AHRS Reactor 40 mounts nearly anywhere in any orientation and requires minimal commissioning. Our patented Shadow Drive technology gives boaters the security of knowing they maintain control even when relying upon the autopilot.

Solid-state 9-axis AHRS
With its advanced solid-state 9-axis AHRS you can mount Reactor 40 nearly anywhere in any orientation. In addition this new system greatly minimizes heading error course deviation rudder movement and power consumption while providing a comfortable ride for all on board.

Reacts to Conditions
This amazing autopilot actually reacts to the sea to hold your course. Even when the boat is pitching and rolling you can remain confident that the Reactor 40 autopilot will keep you on your desired course.

Minimal Commissioning and Calibration
All autopilots require commissioning and calibration — all of them. We know you just want to get on the water so we made this process as fast and easy as possible. That's the power of simple.

Full Integration with Garmin Chartplotters
Combined with a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter you can have full control of Reactor 40 from wherever you are on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Plus with a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter and BlueChart g2 Vision charts (sold separately) you gain optional features such as Auto Guidance2 which automatically steers GPS paths.

Stay in Control with Shadow Drive Technology
The Reactor 40 autopilot features patented Shadow Drive technology. This gives you the security of knowing you maintain control even when the autopilot is engaged. The Shadow Drive system automatically disengages the autopilot if the helm is turned giving you the freedom to maneuver the boat. The autopilot automatically re-engages when you hold a steady course.

Buy it. Truly amazing.
Size: California King (102x96 Inch), Color: Black
It's a bit thinner than I thought and comes in a surprisingly small box but that doesn't matter at all because there's so much blanket and it's super soft, it feels like covering up with a cloud. Perfectly warm, perfectly cool and perfect for sharing the bed with a blanket hog (or your dog babies). Folds up nice and tight for storage too which is always a plus. Buy this, it's worth the price forsure.

Soft and cozy, sizing seems a bit inconsistent
Size: Queen (90x90 Inch), Color: Sage Green
I actually ordered two of these blankets in two different colors. We had urgent need to add a bed with all new bedding (medical reasons), so I ordered these blankets in a rush. The quality of the blankets seems good. They are very soft and cozy. Lightweight, yet warm. The only issue is that two blankets that should be identical in all ways other than color are actually not even close in size. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get these blankets to line up equally. I really don't like having one blanket hanging lower than the other, especially now that this bed is just inside our front door where every visitor can see it. The king size quilt should in theory cover this discrepancy, but it doesn't fit correctly (another issue). It also means that the blankets are not equally distributed over me and my husband at night. Other than the size inconsistency, I really like these blankets and think they are good value, plenty warm for Wisconsin winters when doubled up with sheets and quilt.

Soft fuzzy polyester king sized fleece blanket with no static electricity
Size: King (90x102 Inch), Color: Grey, Size: King (90x102 Inch), Color: Grey
I ordered the gray color because it was cheaper than the other colors, but it looks nice. This blanket was actually a lot nicer than I was expecting. It is pretty thick, very soft, fuzzy on both sides, fits the king sized bed, and keeps me warm with little extra weight. It is breathable and doesn't make me sweaty. The price was really very good, better than what I saw when shopping in local big stores. This feels great on the skin, and is much more comfortable than heavy wool blankets or quilts. When folded up it doesn't take up much room. It fits well in the washing machine. One of the best features is that it doesn't seem to generate static electricity even in dry air. In general I don't care for synthetic fibers, but I'm making an exception with this blanket, which stays clean and fluffy after extended use. I've had it 2.5 months with no problems and no manufacturing defects detected. The hem stitching is tidy and strong, very neat. I'm thinking of ordering a smaller one to keep in the car for emergencies and outings. I wish all the colors were a similar low price. I have recommended this blanket to friends.

Best blankets ever
Size: King (90x102 Inch), Color: Navy
Gorgeous blanket. I have many of them. They wash up great and look good. They are soft and warm. I only returned this one because the color was off. It looked more like a light to medium blue, but is actually a very light blue.
