ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

URSULA K. LE GUIN was born in Berkeley, California, in 1929. Among her honors are a National Book Award, five Hugo and five Nebula Awards, the Kafka Award, a Pushcart Prize, and the Harold D. Vursell Memorial Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She lives in Portland, Oregon.

This is the first time we planted Zinnias in our garden. Seemed so easy and worry free. It took 2.5 months from the time we planted the seeds to seeing the first blooms. It's now been about 3 months and the plants are in full bloom. The flowers came out in many vibrant colors!
