PRODUCT DETAILS

Hasport rear differential mount kit for the 2000–2009 Honda S2000 (AP1 and AP2) running the stock F-series engine. This Honda S2000 Hasport kit replaces the factory rear diff mounts with much stronger 00–09 S2000 Hasport mounts that actually hold up to hard launches, sticky tires, clutch kicks, and real power gains.

The factory S2000 diff bushings are a known weak link. After 15–25+ years, the OEM rubber usually cracks, collapses, or rips completely. When that happens, the differential walks around under load. That slop is where the sketchy wheel hop comes from. That’s why you hear the rear end clunk on and off throttle. And that’s why shifts start to feel vague once you add power or bolt on real tire. If your S2000 feels loose out back, the S2000 differential bushing kit is usually where you start.

These Hasport rear diff mounts use 6061‑T6 billet aluminum brackets with high-grade urethane inserts to lock the rear diff into position. Once you bolt in this S2000 Hasport mount kit, the diff stays put, so the driveshaft and axles stay aligned and loaded the same way every time. In the car, that means cleaner launches, more precise shifts, and way less wheel hop when you really lean on it. If you’re tightening up a tired rear end or building a serious track-focused S2000, this Hasport S2000 bushing kit fixes a real mechanical weak point instead of band-aiding it.

Bushing Stiffness Options
Hasport S2000 mounts come in four urethane hardness levels plus a solid option:
  • 62A (Street) – SKU: HAS-APDIFF-62A
Best pick for a street-driven S2000 that still sees spirited driving. Ride quality stays close to stock, and you won’t hate your life on long freeway runs. You’ll feel a little more drivetrain feedback through the chassis, but it won’t rattle the dash apart. Ideal if you daily the car and just want your S2000 rear diff mounts to stop squirming.
  • 70A (Race) – SKU: HAS-APDIFF-70A
Good fit for a dual-purpose S2000 that hits occasional track days or autocross. You’ll notice more vibration at idle and low RPM, but the diff stays planted when you mat it or clutch-kick. This is “serious enthusiast street car” territory—firmer than 62A without going full race car.
  • 88A (Extreme Race) – SKU: HAS-APDIFF-88A
Now you’re into dedicated track-car behavior. These Hasport S2000 replacement mounts hold the diff almost like a solid mount, which sharpens response and keeps things consistent when you’re on R-comps or slicks and making real power. In exchange, you get a clear bump in NVH—expect more gear noise and vibration inside the cabin.
  • 94A (Most Extreme Race) – SKU: HAS-APDIFF-94A
For cars that basically live at the track or drag strip. These are the stiffest polyurethane Hasport rear differential mounts in the lineup. They work well with high-grip setups, aggressive clutch dumps, and S2000s making big horsepower. Streetable? Technically. Comfortable? Not really.
  • 6061 Solid Aluminum – SKU: HAS-APDIFF-6061
No urethane at all—just solid 6061. This turns your S2000 differential mount replacement into a fully solid-mounted rear. Maximum stiffness, maximum feedback, maximum noise and vibration. Great for serious race builds and big-power cars launching on slicks. For most street S2000s, it’s overkill and will get annoying fast.
Remember: the stiffer the bushing, the more NVH you’ll feel. Higher durometer performance S2000 differential mounts keep the diff exactly where it belongs, but they also increase stress on the subframe, axles, and even interior plastics. If you daily your car or run mostly street miles, stick with 62A or maybe 70A. If comfort doesn’t matter and you want the rear end as precise as possible, the 88A, 94A, or 6061 solid S2000 performance mount kit options get you there.

Whether you’re freshening up a worn rear end, finally dealing with the wheel hop that’s been bugging you for years, or building a full track-spec S2000 around a stronger Honda S2000 mount set, this S2000 Hasport mount kit turns the back of the car into something tighter, more predictable, and way more confidence-inspiring—exactly how an S2000 should feel when you drive it hard.

From Pixels to Problems! Great read!
Format: Hardcover
“Play Nice” offers an enjoyable deep dive into the tumultuous history of Blizzard Entertainment, chronicling its journey from a ragtag group of brilliant college students to its evolution under corporate ownership and its current state. Schreier provides fascinating insights into the antics of Blizzard’s early employees, showcasing their outlandish attitudes, relentless work ethic, and tight-knit camaraderie. The book explores how Blizzard transitioned from a company renowned for producing high-quality, polished games that left competitors in the dust to one struggling to preserve its heart and soul amid mounting corporate pressures. While the corporate side and C-suite executives are often cast in a negative light, Schreier thoughtfully examines the motivations behind their decisions, offering perspectives from all levels of the company—from executives and middle management to QA testers. This balanced approach provides a refreshing take, avoiding oversimplified blame and instead considering multiple sides of the story. And while it’s easy to villainize the suits in the boardroom, Schreier does a great job showing why some decisions were made. From executives to QA testers, he pulls back the curtain to reveal a mess of perspectives, reminding us that every bad decision has some kind of reason behind it (even if it’s still a bad decision). The book also revisits the scandals that put some serious smudges on Blizzard’s reputation, offering new angles and fresh commentary. As someone who once lived for Blizzard games—cheering at Overwatch League matches and losing entire weekends to Diablo marathons—I can’t help but root for Blizzard to find its way back to glory. And hey, if it means waiting another decade for their next masterpiece, so be it. It’s done when it’s done.

Great insight into an otherwise obscure world
Format: Hardcover
As someone who grew up playing blizzard's games for an unfathomable amount of hours I've always been interested into their inner workings, especially considering their downfall in recent years. This book holds a ton of information and knowledge, is well sourced, and is the work of someone with obvious deep familiarity with the industry and its particularities. Besides the information itself, the book it written in fun and interesting prose, and it keeps the rhythm fast and entertaining, so it reads more like a novel than a journalistic article. Overall, an entertaining piece of insight into a world that is normally quite unknown, even to long time gamers like myself.

Great insight on what happened at Blizzard but...
Format: Kindle
My main issue with the book is the lack of non-american stories that explained the bigger picture. As a former Blizzard dev, there's much more than what happened in Irvine and Korea, with Europe's office mentioned almost as a footnote, and nothing else from the other regional stories. Shame but I guess the book would've been double the size.
