🇺🇸 Factory Special Finish “Stars & Stripes” Example 🇺🇸

Extremely Likely One-Of-A-Kind / Possible NAMM or Display Instrument!

There are rare guitars… and then there’s this!

Offered here is an extraordinary 2002 Gretsch G6144 Spectra Sonic C Melody Baritone finished in a stunning metallic “Stars & Stripes” USA flag scheme unlike anything we have ever encountered before. After extensive research, correspondence with Fender/Gretsch representatives, TV Jones, Gretsch enthusiasts and archive searching, we have been unable to locate another documented example anywhere worldwide.

Importantly, accompanying correspondence included with the guitar confirms the finish itself was factory-applied and NOT a later amateur refinish.

This guitar comes complete with a remarkable paper trail from previous ownership, including direct email correspondence with Fender/Gretsch representatives and TV Jones whilst the former owner attempted to establish the instrument’s origins and authenticity.

The consensus from the documentation strongly suggests this was either:

* a highly limited factory special

* a display or promotional instrument

* a potential tradeshow/NAMM-related piece

* or an extremely small-run custom finish from the Hamer-era Gretsch production facility

Whilst no definitive factory document explicitly states “NAMM guitar” or “one-of-one”, the evidence surrounding the instrument makes it an incredibly compelling and important modern Gretsch piece.

Most significantly, Fender Consumer Relations Specialist Cameron Miller confirmed in writing:

“That paint color was indeed a factory finish. But was not a standard.”

That statement alone elevates this far beyond the realm of aftermarket refinishing.

The included correspondence also confirms:

* manufacture in early 2002

* Hamer-era Gretsch production

* non-standard finish

* original MSRP of $3925

* TV Jones pickup specification

* original issue date of the Gretsch QC card (4/17/03)

* and that very few examples of the model itself were made

The previous owner additionally noted:

* no signs of disturbed wiring or modification

* evidence of an original underlying Gretsch logo beneath the finish

* and information suggesting the finish may have been completed before Gretsch production transitioned fully to Japan

The finish itself is absolutely jaw-dropping in person. Metallic blue sparkle, deep gloss urethane and beautifully executed American flag graphics make this one of the most visually arresting Gretsch instruments we have ever seen.

Condition-wise, the guitar is exceptionally clean and presents more like a collector-owned display instrument than a regularly played guitar. It is genuinely difficult to fault cosmetically, with only the lightest signs of handling visible under close inspection. The guitar would benefit from a fresh set of strings and personal setup to suit the next owner’s preferred tuning and playing style.

Included with the guitar:

* Original Gretsch hard case

* Original Gretsch guarantee paperwork

* Original Gretsch QC/O.K. card

* Extensive printed historical correspondence and research documents relating to the guitar’s origins and finish

Specification includes:

* Model: Gretsch G6144 Spectra Sonic C Melody Baritone

* Year: 2002

* Scale Length: 29.25”

* Semi-Hollow / Chambered Alder Body

* Laminated Spruce Top

* 3-Piece Mahogany Neck

* African Padauk Fingerboard

* TV Jones Classic Bridge Pickup

* TV Jones Magna-Tron Neck Pickup

* Adjusto-Matic Bridge

* Bigsby Vibrato

* Deluxe Chrome Hardware

We have intentionally documented the history of this guitar in detail because instruments like this deserve careful representation. Serious collectors will understand just how unusual it is to find:

* factory confirmation of a non-standard finish

* accompanying provenance correspondence

* collector-grade condition

* and no other known examples surfacing publicly

To the best of our knowledge and research, this is very highly likely to be the only example of its kind in the world.

An exceptional and potentially unique modern Gretsch collector’s piece.

Beat the Humidity with This Citrus Powerhouse
Scent: Bergamot, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
In the middle of a brutal, humid Philippine summer, finding a body wash that actually boosts your confidence is a game-changer. Cremo’s Italian Bergamot isn’t just a soap; it’s a full olfactory experience. It opens with a vibrant, tart Italian bergamot that immediately cuts through the heat, followed by the freshness of vetiver, and the neroli blossom adds a sophisticated floral touch. True to Cremo’s Reserve collection, the scent is beautifully layered. It builds in intensity as you lather, allowing the earthy, fresh vetiver to anchor the citrus. Unlike many drugstore options, this lingers—stepping out of the shower, you can still catch the crisp citrus and the clean, woody dry-down on your skin. It’s the ultimate reset for a hot day.

I Smell Like a Gentleman Who Owns a Fireplace
Scent: Bourbon Oak, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The fragrance is warm, woody, and slightly sweet...that low amber note that smells expensive without trying to smell expensive, which, as we all know, is the actual expensive smell. My wife walked past me twenty minutes post-shower and said, unprompted, "You smell really good." I nodded like I had planned this. The lather is genuinely rich; squeeze a modest amount and it blooms into a thick, creamy foam that covers everything efficiently. The texture is silky rather than watery, which matters more than people admit. Watery body washes feel like rinsing off with slightly scented regret. This one feels intentional. It cleans, and your skin actually feels clean afterward, not just rinsed. And the moisturizing? I wasn't expecting it. No greasy film, no lotion-begging dry patches by midday. Just quietly softer skin that doesn't make a big announcement about it. Now, my honest gripe: the scent longevity has a ceiling. By mid-afternoon you're back to neutral. That's the gap between four stars and five for me. For daily freshness and an incredible morning window of smelling genuinely great, it absolutely delivers...but it won't carry you to bedtime. On value: 16 fl oz is decent, the lather is efficient so the bottle lasts, and the price sits in that sweet spot where you feel like someone who makes slightly elevated but still reasonable choices, which is exactly the vibe this entire product is going for.

Lathers great in a small amount!
Scent: Bergamot, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Scent: Bergamot, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Lathers great for a small amount! A fair price for the amount and rich content. I just bought, used and love it. Definitely will purchase again. I love the sophisticated yet sensible smell doesn't overpower. In my perception it is a unisex scent as I am a woman and bought for myself.
