When to Replace
- Visible signs of fraying, cracking, or splitting along the belt edges.
- The belt has stretched beyond the adjustment capacity of the mower’s tensioning system.
- Noticeable slipping during blade engagement or loss of cutting performance under load.
- Glazing or hardened rubber texture on the underside of the belt.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the mower engine is off, the spark plug wire is disconnected, and the parking brake is engaged.
- Clean debris from the deck pulleys and spindle housings before installing the new belt.
- Release tension on the idler pulley to allow sufficient slack for proper routing.
- Verify that the belt is fully seated in the grooves of all pulleys after installation.
- Cycle the blade engagement mechanism manually to ensure the belt tracks correctly before restarting the engine.

Item as described, mint condition, works great came with charger block and fast shipping only issue I had is with shipping carrier. FEDEX stinks showed arrival as Monday, was delivered 1/21 10:45 am yet their system showed package was in Louisville, Tn at this time later in the evening I checked again showed delivered. No package by my door from FedEx had to go to their website to find picture where the left it. Was found at entrance to my complex on top of mailboxes where anyone could have of taken it…
