The Rivolver range of HSS woodturning tools are truly in a class of their own. These beautiful tools are manufactured with Black European Beech hardwood handles coupled with M42HSS chisel blades which are also Cryogenically treated to dramatically improve their edge holding capabilities. M42 is a premium cobalt high speed steel with a chemical composition designed for high hardness and superior hot hardness. M42 exhibits excellent wear resistance by virtue of high heat-treated hardness (68 to 70 HRC), and the high cobalt content imparts the hot hardness. As such, the cutting edges on tools made from M42 super high speed steel stay sharp and hard in heavy-duty and high-production cutting applications. By comparison M2 HSS steel, also a good quality steel, has a heat- treated hardness of 65 HRC. By incorporating M42 Super HSS, and then cryogenically treating the steel by lowering the temperatures on the steel to again improve toughness, the Rivolver M42HSS Cryo tools will allow a very sharp cutting edge and also hold that sharpness much longer than any other standard HSS steel chisel. The woodturner looking for above normal excellent performance from their turning tools need look no further than Rivolver M42HSS Cryo chisels. The Rivolver Spindle Gouges come in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sizes. The 3/8" and 1/2" come with a 320mm (12.6") Black European Beech hardwood handle and a 170mm (6.7") length chisel for a very comfortable overall length of 490mm (19.25"). The 1/4" gouge has a 220mm (8.6")handle with a 150mm (6") chisel for an overall length of 370mm (14.5"). I had my doubts, yet after a couple months I really love this chair. Its a very good quality. Comfortable and sturdy. It allows for me to lean back too, which is a big plus! It looks really great and I am glad I purchased this chair. If you are looking, then just buy it because it is as good as it looks in the pictures.

Perfect for my studio

Naught this chair for my bedroom home recording studio. Honestly, I bought it mostly for the look. I just thought it would look great with what I was trying to v to do in the studio. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that’s its much more comfortable than I had assumed. It was easy to assemble. The provided assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me less than 20 minutes to build it. The build quality is solid. I’m a tall well build dude that weights more than 210 lbs and it takes my weight very well. Great little chair. I recommend it.

Very happy customer!

This chair is what you are looking for!!! No serious friends, this chair is everything and so incredibly comfortable! I’m so happy with this purchase. The wood accents I believe are actual wood and the PU leather is gorgeous and seriously looks like real leather. The size is perfect for my frame too. I’m a size medium bottom girly and the curve and level of cushion on the seat is so well executed. The rollability of the rollers are fantastic too, not super loud on our wooden floors and a really smooth glide. Im on the search for a rug to go under my desk but man the patience I used to wait to find this chair truly was worth it. A total lesson on patience and biting when you find the right thing. I think it’s pretty sturdy too. But I’ll report back in a few months. At the moment nothing leads me to be suspicious of a less than long life for this chair.
