FULL-WIDTH RAM AIR SCOOP
Similar in design to our popular MK7 intake system, the aluminum heat shield spans the entire length of the front clip. This feature takes advantage of air getting shoved through the front grill while effectively sealing off hot engine bay air.
Sound
Tiguans may look like your common luxury cross-over, but underneath that shell, it contains the same MQB platform and 2.0L turbocharged powerplant as the popular GTI. Adding the IE intake system unleashes the same exciting turbo spool, engine note, and turbo relief sound our MK7 customers love.
TAILORED FIT
Designing within the constraints of the factory engine bay, 3D scans are taken to utilize all available space. The result is a beautifully crafted aftermarket intake design that sits perfectly in place at looks entirely at home in the factory engine bay.
EASY INSTALL
Installation of our new intake kit is easy without any permanent modifications or installation hassles. The install process is straightforward and can be done with basic tools, plan on about an hour to from start to finish.
VELOCITY STACK
As with other IE intakes, the built-in velocity stack is incredibly efficient at channeling mass amounts of airflow and smoothly transferring it down to the intake piping with very low amounts of drag or power-robbing turbulence.
