This class is targeted towards students who are completely new to flameworking or students with some glass experience looking to increase their arsenal of skills.
In this class focusing on decorative techniques for hollow glass, students will use stringer to decorate a tube to keep their pet's whiskers in! Students will learn the basics of working with hollow borosilicate, stringer pulling, dot application, flame control, the use of puntils (glass handles), and more.
Tools and materials (including 3 cork stopper for your finished whisker keepers) are provided for the class.
*Please note: these are for found whiskers only! We do not condone plucking or trimming your pet's whiskers.*
No previous glass experience required.
Due to the nature of glass, students will have to return to pick up their finished pieces after they have been annealed.
