The fan can face straight ahead or angle to face upwards. It is easy to change the angle of the fan, simply tilt the body and it clicks into place. It does not face downward. When faced upwards it does well to circulate air around the room. It is somewhat loud on higher settings but that is to be expected. At $14.99 this was priced a bit lower than similar units. It’s a good value so far as it is performing well.
