This palette knife from Gamblin features a single-piece non-reflective carbon steel blade with even tension and flexibility- making it sturdy, reliable and easily manoeuvrable even with ultra-thick impasto. The blade tapers gradually to a crisp edge, and the matte-satin steel surface can be easily wiped clean with gamsol, soap and water, or safflower oil. 

The handle is made of light sustainably grown birch, hand-turned into an elegant and ergonomic shape, fully sealed with a protective paint, and colour-dipped to ensure that each knife can be easily identified at a glance. 

The proven shape of the Raymond cuts crisp, tight edges and cleanly moves paint around a palette. Ideal size for most painters. Large enough for mixing and mark-making. Short and stiff enough for total control and fine detail.
